Kylie Jenner is showing off a different side of her.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder provided a rare glimpse at her natural curly hair—and the look is so different from how she normally styles her dark locks.
In a photo shared to her Instagram Stories Aug. 31, Kylie–wearing a grey collared sleep shirt—held up her phone in front of her face as she posed for a selfie in the mirror. And while her hair was tied back in a messy updo, a few strands that fell loose had swiveled up into tight curls.
Captioning the head-turning image, Kylie—who typically wears her sleek black locks straight or in cascading waves—wrote, "Love my little curls."
Of course, unveiling hair transformations is nothing new for the Kardashians star. After all, Kylie dyed her hair several colors, including bright blue and pink, during her iconic "King Kylie" era.
For the 28-year-old, experimenting with her appearance is simply "a part of who I am."
“I think that I’m kind of a chameleon with my style; I love to play,” Kylie told Harper's Bazaar in an interview published May 28. “I’ve been like that since I was 16."
Recalling that she used to change her hair color "like once a week" and "cut my hair off and then put a wig on or put extensions in," she continued, "I’ve always switched up my style.”
As for why Kylie has developed, as she describes it, an "addiction" to altering her look? The Khy founder—who shares daughter Stormi Webster, 7, and son Aire Webster, 3, with ex Travis Scott—revealed that it helps her evolve in other ways as well.
“It makes me feel like a new person," Kylie explained. "I love feeling different, and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way.”
