Amanda Seyfried saw Julia Roberts wearing a striped button down and blazer, so she wore a striped button down and blazer.
Indeed, the Mean Girls actress shared that she wanted to raid Julia’s closet after the Pretty Woman star looked chic in dark wash jeans, a navy blazer and a yellow and grey striped button down for the Aug. 29 screening of her upcoming film After the Hunt at the Venice Film Festival, giving a first look at one of the new Versace creative director Dario Vitale's styles.
Amanda decided to shoot her shot by commenting on their mutual celeb stylist Elizabeth Stewart's Aug. 29 post of the look, saying, "Please let me wear the same outfit."
Three days later, Amanda, 39, expertly copied Julia, 57, by re-wearing her same jeans, blazer and shirt—also at the Venice Film Festival, to celebrate her own movie The Testament of Ann Lee.
And the Mamma Mia! star was nothing but grateful to be able to twin with the Oscar winner, writing on Instagram Sept. 1, "Thanks for sharing @juliaroberts #sustainable #shareyourlooks."
Their stylist also shouted Julia’s good attitude, writing, "Thank you @juliaroberts for your generosity and sustainability. Sharing is caring!"
“Elizabeth is so savvy—she is so amazing and I trust her so much,” she told Harper's Bazaar in 2022. "She understands what will look good on my body and she knows my boundaries with fashion, and I am so grateful for that.”
And this occasion wasn't the first time her fashion consultant was one step ahead.
“Every once in a while—maybe once a year—I’ll see something in a magazine that I want to try, but almost always, it is something she has chosen," she continued, "something she has put on hold, knowing I will love it.”

Thankfully, both parties were floored by the moment, with Pink telling reporters of her twin, "She's hot."
Nicole Richie, Mandy Moore & Minka Kelly

Laverne Cox & Gabrielle Union
Almost 20 years later, the two actresses decided to recreate the Mariah and Whitney-diva moment when they presented at the 2015 BET Awards.
Though they wore different looks on the carpet, the pair then arrived on stage in matching white gowns. The only way to prove who rocked the look better? A live face-off over hip-hop trivia (which Laverne won).
Dua Lipa & Megan Thee Stallion
As they say, the third time is often the charm. At least Dua and Megan hoped it would be when they executed a similar ploy at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
When presenting the award Best New Artist, the artists were "shocked" to see they'd arrived in the same Versace looks—only to have Donatella Versace herself take to the stage and tell them to cool it.
