Cardi B is out here drippin’ in finesse as she prepares to become a mom of four.
Indeed, the “Up” rapper is pregnant with baby no. 4, her first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs, she confirmed during an appearance on CBS Mornings Sept. 17.
"I'm having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs," Cardi told Gayle King, later noting she's due ahead of her Little Miss Drama tour in February. "I've been putting in all this work, but I'm doing all this work while I'm creating a baby."
And while Cardi is amid rollout for her album Am I The Drama?, out Sept. 19, she emphasized that she is super excited.
"I'm happy I feel like I'm in a good space," she continued. "Me and my man are very supportive of each other. We like in the same space in our careers. You know what it is that I feel like we're really great, we're really the best at what we do."
And while Cardi admitted she hadn't yet told her parents before her on-air interview, she added, "I felt like can I just say it on my own time, I'm not hiding."
The 32-year-old went on to explain that part of the reason she feels so strong—even despite people coming at her "very hard" amid her album rollout—is her man.
"He just makes me feel safe and very confident," she gushed. "And it makes you feel like you could take over the world."
Since Cardi finally shared the big news with her fans, she is expecting them to favor her in return.
"Now y'all could buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff," she joked. "I told you. Now go support my album, 'cause I'm a mother of four now."
The news comes three months after Cardi and the New England Patriots wide receiver confirmed their relationship with a public date night at a New York Knicks game in May. Indeed, the “I Like It” artist’s five-year on-again, off-again relationship with Offset—with whom she shares Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 12 months—officially came to a close in July 2024 when she filed for divorce, and then shared she was pregnant with Blossom.
And though the former couple are still going through divorce proceedings, Cardi began alluding to her romance with Stefon in December, saying she was “dating” again that month.
Then, in February, the pair stepped out for the first time, spending Valentine’s Day together at a Miami hotel. Months later, Cardi confirmed her romance on social media in June, sharing a since-deleted video of the duo dancing on a yacht as well as a photo of a special delivery of flowers later in the post, where she exclaims in awe, “Jesus Christ, oh boy.”
Cardi proved her man loves to spoil her and subtly clapped back at break up rumors in one quick post. As the 32-year-old showed off her lavish jewelry collection, she shared that a new staple part of her accessories was a gift from the NFL star: a $73,000 Patek Philippe watch.
“My boo boo got it for me at London Jewelers,” Cardi said in an Aug. 2 TikTok, showing off the timepiece on her wrist. “At first I thought he was buying himself a watch and then he was like, ‘Surprise, a watch for you!’”
Considering the “WAP” rapper and football star are sparing no expense when it comes to expressing their love for each other, it comes as no surprise they are welcoming a new little one. After all, Cardi previously emphasized how important motherhood is to her, noting she wanted to be around for every single moment for her eldest.
“I couldn’t even think about getting a nanny because I was afraid of anybody being around her besides my family,” Cardi told Vogue Singapore in 2022 of her bond with Kulture, adding, “I’m never far from my kids because that’s my responsibility as a mother.”
