Angelina Jolie Recreates Leg-Baring Oscars Pose 13 Years Later

It was the leg that launched a thousand memes.

Now, more than 13 years later, Angelina Jolie has recreated the now-iconic, thigh baring style that she displayed on the 2012 Oscars red carpet.

The 50-year-old showcased her latest leggy look at the premiere of her new film Couture at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival Sept. 7. Angelina walked the red carpet wearing a full-length, chocolate silk, double-breasted Gabriela Hearst coat, paired with black, pointed patent leather pumps.

And her latest look should come as no surprise, considering Angelina’s fashion statements have always turned heads.

"I'm just comfortable," the Oscar winner exclusively told E! News’ Francesca Amiker about her style. "I didn't have a dress at the last minute. My lovely friend Gabriela had a jacket."

As for what Angelina wore underneath the garment? The Changeling actress revealed to E! News she simply wore "shorts."

Her outfit may have also been an homage to her character in Couture, a fashion drama directed and written by Alice Winocour.

"She wears the same big, black jacket through the entire movie," Angelina explained about her main role of Maxine Walker. "I think I'm the only one not dressed in fashion."

She added, "My character was in a slightly different world of horror movies, directing and life and death."

And when it comes to her life off-screen, Angelina follows her own style guide, as do her children.

"My house is very, 'To each their own,'" the Maria actress—who shares Maddox, 24, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17, with ex-husband Brad Pitt—told E! News. "We’re very democratic. Everyone does their own thing."

Angelina added, "As long as you’re being you, we’re good. If you’re dressing up to try to impress somebody else or be like somebody else, we'd probably call you out. But if you're you, you'd be you."
