Machine Gun Kelly has absolutely no bad things to say about Megan Fox.
Nearly six months after the former couple welcomed their baby girl Saga Blade, MGK continues to praise his daughter’s mom, noting that there is no one he’d rather have on his team for his second fatherhood journey.
“It truly was an epic story of love, pain and a lot of magic,” MGK explained during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, set to air Sept. 18. “I had it with a person who is the greatest partner, the greatest partner to have had a child with.”
Indeed, the 35-year-old—also dad to Casie Colson Baker, 16, with ex Emma Cannon—emphasized that Megan is a “phenomenal mom.” Their co-parenting dynamic has been so smooth, in fact, he admitted there’s only one thing they can’t quite agree on.
“We go back and forth on who she looks like,” MGK explained of their baby. “Last month, she looked exactly like me and now she looks exactly like her.”
Of course, MGK is not going to take any extra credit in the dad department. After all, he previously spoke out against the praise he’d been receiving over the Jennifer’s Body alum.
“I want to detract all of the congrats to me and just move it to Megan because she really does all the work,” the rapper emphasized during an appearance on Today last month. “She’s the one. I just play the guitar and pray that the baby is happy.”
Although Megan—who also shares Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11 and Journey, 9, with ex Brian Austin Green—has kept a low profile since giving birth in March, MGK felt compelled to shut down speculation amid an anger-inducing interaction the pair had with their little one.
“Someone the other day was like, ‘You’re such a good dad!’ just because I was holding the baby,” he detailed. “And she was fuming. Like, ‘No, no, no, no.’”
In addition to praising Megan’s parenting skills, MGK can’t emphasize enough how blissful his life has been with their new addition. As he added to Today, “It’s awesome.”

The actress confirmed that she and MGK had at one point called off their engagement.
"What I've learned from being in this relationship is that it's not for public consumption," she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast. "So I think as of now, I don't have a comment on like the status of the relationship."
She continued, "What I can say is, that is what I refer to as being my 'twin soul', and there will always be a tether to him no matter what."
November 2024: Baby on Board
The couple shared that they were expecting a baby together with Megan writing on Instagram, "Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back," alongside a photo posing naked covered in black paint and holding her baby bump.
She also included a picture of a pregnancy test with the word, "Yes."
November-December 2024: Breakup
In late November, shortly after confirming Megan's pregnancy, the duo called it quits, multiple outlets reported Dec. 10.
March 2025: It's a Girl!
The duo welcomed daughter on March 27, 2025. According to MGK, Megan gave birth while listening to a score composed by himself and pal Travis Barker.
The rocker said he named their baby girl Saga Blade Fox-Baker because she's the five-year culmination of "coming, disappearing, coming back again, disappearing, coming back again."
“She is an epic story," he told Today. "That's what saga means.”
