Gigi Hadid is commemorating her daughter's milestone birthday.
The supermodel shared some sweet messages for Khai—who she shares with ex Zayn Malik—as she turned five years old Sept. 19.
Gigi posted an adorable photo of her kneeling down in the dirt behind her daughter who was dressed like a cowgirl in a jean jacket, chaps and pink cowboy boots with her hair in braided pigtails. For her part, the 30-year-old was wearing blue jeans and a camo sweatshirt with cowboy boots.
"My girl is 5 today," she wrote over the photo on her Instagram Stories, which had Khai's face cropped out for privacy. "Happy Birthday to me greatest love & gift."
Gigi also shared a behind-the-scenes photo of her pregnant during a photoshoot and wrote "Khai Loading..." In a subsequent slide, the Guest in Residence founder posted a professional snap from the same shoot where she holds her belly in a white bandeau and blue jeans unfolded at the waist and wrote, "So Lucky to be your mama."
Gigi also added one more photo to her birthday tribute for Khai, which saw her holding her then-2-year-old from behind, which she dated Oct. 24, 2023.
This isn't the only milestone of Khai's that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has celebrated this fall. She also that she recently had her first day of school.
"Happy first day back 2 school!" Gigi said in a handwritten note for her daughter placed in her pink lunchbox as seen in a photo shared to her Instagram Stories earlier this month. "So proud of you."
She ended her note by drawing a heart and signing the card "Mama."
While Gigi and Zayn are careful about what they share of their daughter, the former One Direction singer did gush about her burgeoning musical abilities last year.
“She's not expert-level, but she's got a bit of rhythm when she's hitting the drums and stuff,” Zayn said during an appearance on The Zach Sang Show in May 2024. “You can tell that she could definitely develop that into something.”
“She knows whole songs, word for word,” the 32-year-old added at the time. “She sings them fully and she doesn't miss a lyric. She's crazy. She can run stuff too, like little trills—three, four notes in one take.”
