Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were making memories just months ago.
Indeed, the Oscar winner celebrated 19 years of marriage to the country star, just three months before their separation. At the time she shared a cozy look at their life together.
Alongside a photo of her cuddled up to the country singer with his guitar on his lap, she wrote in the June 25 post, "Happy Anniversary Baby."
Just one month prior, the duo—parents to Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14—had stepped out at the Academy of Country Music Awards, where Nicole cheered Keith on as he took home the Triple Crown award, a special recognition for those who have won New Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.
"TRIPLE CROWN !!! it was a surreal feeling and truly humbling honor to be recognized at the @acmawards last night," he wrote May 9 alongside a video celebrating with Nicole in the limo and a photo of him and the Big Little Lies star in the audience. "I LOVED every second of it !!!"
The duo, who wed in 2006, sparked breakup rumors just a few months later amid the news Nicole had put in an application to become a resident of Portugal, with Keith left off the form. However, the speculation was quelled as E! News learned at the time that he was still planning to join her.
“Keith was unable to be in Portugal for this appointment as he is currently on tour in the U.S.," a source with knowledge of the situation told E! July 24, "and it is mandatory for applicants to be physically present in order to apply for the visa. He is scheduled to submit his application at a later date that works with his tour schedule."
The insider added, "While Nicole and Keith own a home in Portugal, their primary residence will continue to be in Nashville.”
However, the “Wing Hearts” singer ultimately did not join Nicole—also mom to Isabella Cruise, 32, and Connor Cruise, 30, with ex-husband Tom Cruise—in the move, as E! News learned Sept. 29 that the couple has been living apart since the beginning of summer and decided to go their separate ways. Keith moved out of their home and into his own place in Nashville, though he’s currently on tour—next traveling to Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Virginia.
