Gypsy Rose Blanchard is looking ahead to becoming a family of four.

Nine months after becoming a mom, to her and partner Ken Urker's daughter Aurora the 34-year-old detailed their hopes to welcome a baby boy.

"As of right now, we have not made any solidified plans,” Gypsy Rose told People in an interview published Sept. 30.“We hope to do IVF sometime in the near future, but right now all our focus is on Aurora."

The My Time to Stand author further shared insight into her and Ken’s decision to use IVF, noting, "It's a way to ensure that I do not pass on my genetic condition of microdeletion 1q21.1."

The couple had tested their baby girl for the condition—which, according to the National Library of Medicine, is a chromosomal change that "increases the risk of delayed development, intellectual disability, physical abnormalities, and neurological and psychiatric problems"—sharing back in April that she did not inherit the microdeletion.

And that process was part of the reason why they are looking to IVF for their future children.

"We are thankful Aurora tested negative, but can't take the risk for another child naturally, so IVF is our best option, and with it, we can choose the gender," she said. "We would like to give Aurora a baby brother."

Gypsy Rose gave birth to her daughter in December, one year after being released from prison for her role in the 2015 murder of her mother Claudine "Dee Dee" Blanchard. Since her eight-year prison stay, she has shared insight into her new chapter, including her morning routines with Aurora.

In addition to growing her family, Gypsy Rose has also been looking forward to marking another family milestone: Marrying Ken.

But first, her partner—with whom she reconciled in 2024, more than five years after they split and called off their engagement—has to officially pop the question again.

“When he proposes," Gypsy Rose told People, "the answer will of course be 'yes.'"

In April, the Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star —who divorced ex-husband Ryan Anderson weeks before giving birth to her daughter—noted to E! News that she and Ken were "moving in that direction" of marriage.

"We don't have an exact date, but it definitely is at the forefront of our lives," she said. "It's something that we all want as a family, and eventually, we'll get there. So just stay tuned for that.”
