Gigi Hadid Makes Rare Comment About "Love" Bradley Cooper

Gigi Hadid borrowed a page from the supportive girlfriend playbook.

While the supermodel did not walk the red carpet with Bradley Cooper at the premiere of his new movie Is This Thing On? Oct. 10, she gave the director a shoutout on his big night.

"Premiere night! Congratulations to my love!" the 30-year-old wrote on her Instagram Stories over a photo of a giant TV screening the film, also giving shoutouts to Laura Dern, Will Arnett and Andra Day and "the whole crew."

His girlfriend of two years isn’t the only one in his corner, either. He also has 8-year-old daughter Lea, who he shares with ex Irina Shayk. In fact, she’s played an active role in his movie making process.

"She's part of it," the 50-year-old exclusively told E! News at the 63rd New York Film Festival Oct. 10. "I was making A Star is Born when she was born and then Maestro, she's in."

"There's nothing weird about it," he said of having her on set. "It's just a part of what we do, and it's kind of a nice thing. She cares so much about it."

And isn’t shying about speaking up, either.

"Kids, they say exactly what they think, and she has a big opinion about everything," he continued. "I love it and I care what she thinks. Even with casting, we'll look at casting auditions together."

Indeed, Lea is involved in Hollywood—and now Gigi is dabbling, too, even auditioning for Rapunzel in Disney’s live-action production of Tangled.

Though she didn’t land the part, "I was really proud of my scene," the mom of Khai, 5 (with Zayn Malik) told Vogue last month. "I knew they were going to go with a real singer."

Still, it’s Cooper who has inspired her to explore her talents. 

"I respect him so much as a creative," she previously told the outlet. "I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief."

"For those people you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself,” she added. "Like, what’s the worst thing if I auditioned for this? You jump and take the leap."
