Josh Allen's greatest play happened off the field.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback shared that his relationship with Hailee Steinfeld—who he tied the knot with in May following two years of dating—has taught him one life-changing lesson.
Josh told Marty Smith in an interview for ESPN that aired Oct. 13, "That I am more than a football player."
"My whole dream as a kid has been to be in this position," he continued, "and I've never thought of anything outside of that or beyond that."
Indeed, the 29-year-old believes that their wedding day was "the most important day" of his life and that building a home with Hailee, 28, has been his "most fulfilling" chapter yet.
"My wife is an unbelievable, undeniable rockstar, in her work, in her life as a person," Josh gushed, adding that the Oscar nominee is "everything I need in my life."
But that doesn't mean he's put his football dreams aside.
As Josh noted, "I hope I still get to play this game for a very long time."
Of course, Hailee thinks their marriage is a total touchdown as well. In fact, the Pitch Perfect alum recently detailed how their union has taught her to enjoy a slower pace of life—even with her acting schedule constantly changing.
"What we do is so unpredictable, and his job is on such a strict schedule," Hailee explained to Variety in an interview published Oct. 3. "So it’s actually a blessing—I try to organize my time so I can be where he is."
So, while Josh steps onto the field each week during the NFL's 2025 regular season, the Sinners star said she is taking a break from filming new projects to be by his side.
"This time of year, I get to hunker down, slow down, support him and live life," Hailee explained. "When the offseason rolls around, it’s go-time for me."

Just a few months after their engagement, Josh and Hailee officially made their red carpet debut at the NFL Honors, where he was named MVP. And during his acccepance speech, he gave her a heartfelt shoutout.
