Sofia Richie is breaking out the maternity clothes again.
On the same day as the launch of her SRG fashion line, the model revealed that she is expecting baby No. 2 with husband Elliot Grainge.
Alongside a mirror selfie of her wearing one of SRG’s jackets and showing off her growing baby bump, Sofia wrote on Instagram Oct. 16, “On my way to launch these babies.”
Though Sofia’s pregnancy reveal was much more nonchalant than her first go-around—she graced the cover of Vogue in January 2024 for the announcement—the simultaneous debut alongside her clothing brand is fitting, as her experience as a mom to her and Elliot’s 16-month-old daughter Eloise actually inspired her fashion line.
“I walked through all the different stages of my life,” she told W magazine in an interview published Oct. 16. “Being at home with my daughter, going out with girlfriends, working.”
Indeed, the 27-year-old—the sister of Nicole Richie and daughter of Lionel Richie and his ex-wife Diane Alexander—noted that the new brand is “like one of my babies.”
“I wanted to create a range that can go from extremely casual [and] being at home, to a business meeting, to a fun night out,” she continued. “I just put myself in those situations, and I tried to create pieces that I thought were best suited for that environment.”
But the debut of her clothing brand is just one of many meaningful milestones she's celebrated since becoming a mom last year. Back in May, Sofia got candid on all the changes she's experienced, in honor of Eloise’s first birthday.
“I didn’t realize her first birthday was going to be such a mix of emotion for me,” she captioned her Instagram post at the time. “On one hand it’s the most amazing beautiful milestone. On the other hand I look back and realize those tiny little moments are something I’ll never get back.”
She added, “Watching her grow has been a gift.”
And while Sofia is clearly excited for her fashion line, she knows where her priorities lie.
“My greatest achievement will ALWAYS be her,” she concluded. “Elliot and I couldn’t love anything in this life more. I don’t know what I did to deserve my little buggie, but all I know is my heaven is right here on earth with her.”
Elliot proved he feels the same about their growing family, making a rare comment on Instagram to praise his wife hours before her pregnancy reveal.
"I usually forget I even have Instagram, so I never really post. But today’s different," the Atlantic Music Group CEO wrote Oct. 16. "It’s the launch of my incredible wife Sofia’s fashion brand, SRG Atelier. I’ve watched you pour your heart into every detail with your amazing team, and I couldn’t be prouder of you, Sof. You inspire me everyday and I love you."
She replied, "Wait Elliot omg I love you so so much! You are my life."
