Carey Hart is raising a glass to his youngest’s new hairstyle.
The former truck racer shared that his and wife Pink’s son, 8-year-old son Jameson Hart, is learning how to play hockey—and he’s sporting a familiar hair color while at it.
“Jamo ain’t messing around,” Carey, 50, wrote on his Oct. 16 Instagram post, which sees his son smiling with his new pink hair. “Ready to drop the gloves and get after it. I know nothing about hockey. His mama got him into it, and he is loving it!!!! So rad to watch him progress at a new sport.”
Indeed, Jameson has been acing his skills on the ice. In one photo, he tried to stop the other team from scoring a point. And while an impressive block, the true highlight of the game is the second photo, where he showed off his hair color inspired by his mom.
Though Pink (born Alecia Moore) has been a silver blonde over the last few years, the pink hue was her signature look during the early 2000s. And just like the “Funhouse” singer, 46, Jameson also looks like a certified rockstar in this vibrant shade.
This isn’t the first time Carey—who also shares daughter Willow Hart, 14, with Pink—has offered a look at his son’s new hair. Two days before the game, the Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test star posted another angle of Jameson’s short cut.
“This dude was loving conveyor belt sushi,” he captioned the Oct. 14 Instagram video of his son grabbing a plate of food, the pink shade blending into his natural blonde tresses. “Movie and dinner w/ my bud, Jamo.”
And as the couple’s kids continue to find their personal style, the “So What” star is encouraging them to follow their dreams. In fact, Pink has been helping Willow embrace her love for theater over the years, and the teen recently crossed off a dream from her bucket list: Performing at New York’s Radio Music City Hall with her mom.
Indeed, the mother-daughter duo performed a sweet duet at Hugh Jackman’s Sept. 20 show at the venue. This musical win came nearly a year after they saw The Great Gatsby on Broadway together last October, and Willow performed the choreography alongside the musical’s cast backstage.
“Having a theater kid? Ultimate dream slash best case scenario,” Pink wrote on her Instagram video at the time, her daughter impressively nailing the moves. “And being able to take her and expose her to this artform that lives? Great Gatsby? Jeremy Jordan? She is obsessed.”
