Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery had a family date night at the ball game.

The Grey’s Anatomy star and her husband were joined by their three children Stella, 16, Sienna, 11, and Eli, 8, for game five of the World Series at Dodgers Stadium on Oct. 29.

Ellen and Chris posed with their children ahead of seeing the Toronto Blue Jays best the Los Angeles Dodgers—and take control of the championship series. For the occasion, Chris, Eli and Sienna all rocked Dodgers hats, while Ellen repped the home team with a blue bandana that she wore around her neck.

The night at the ballpark marked a rare outing for the family of five. In fact, earlier this year, most of the family came together as Ellen—who has been married to Chris since 2007 accepted her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

For that occasion, she was joined by Chris as well as Stella and Eli, although she made sure her youngest got a special shoutout, noting in her speech "Everybody say Sienna because she’s not here!”

As for Stella and Eli, Ellen offered them sweet words.

“This doesn’t happen overnight, and it doesn’t happen easily," she said. "It takes a village. I love you Stella. I love you Eli.”

And while she’s keeping her children out of the spotlight, Ellen is also making sure she’s keeping a close eye on their content. Particularly the timing when it comes to watching her in her classic role as Meredith Grey.

"My 15-year-old has seen it, and now my 10-year-old wants to see it," she said on Jimmy Kimmel Live in March. "She's not ready, but a lot of kids in her class have seen it."

"No judgment on other parents. But I don't want my daughter to see me in my underwear on television just yet," she continued. "But all her classmates have so... That makes for great conversation at pick-up."
