Travis Barker isn’t watching, waiting or commiserating this race.
In fact, he’s crossing over the finish line with pride. The Blink-182 drummer participated in his inaugural Run Travis Run 5K event in California Nov. 9, and he’s appreciating all the small things that went into his performance.
“LA, YOU CRUSHED IT,” the Run organization captioned their post, which sees Travis, 49, and multiple attendees sprinting down Los Angeles’ Ocean Ave. “Thx for making the last race feel special.”
Indeed, the “I Miss You” musician—who shares kids Atiana De La Hoya, 26, Landon Barker, 22, and Alabama Barker, 19, with ex Shanna Moakler—put his endurance to the test, as he reportedly finished the race in 19 minutes and 14 seconds. After the run, Travis rode in a float shaped as a high-top Vans sneaker and later performed a set near Santa Monica.
This isn’t the first time Travis has flaunted his running skills. In fact, he and wife Kourtney Kardashian—who share 2-year-old son Rocky Barker—took part in the wellness event’s race in New Orleans earlier this year. They also broke a sweat in the Inglewood trek last July, and the Poosh founder, 46, gave her husband a kiss as she crossed the finish line.
“My wife’s a beast!” Travis told Page Six of her participation that year. “She’s never done this. She thinks I’m crazy because some mornings I’ll wake up and she’ll be like, ‘Where are you going?’ I’m like, ‘I heard there’s a 5K, babe, I’m gonna run it.’”
And when the duo aren’t focusing on their speed, they’re celebrating their loved ones. Indeed, Travis and Kourtney were one of many couples that attended Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party on Nov. 8, trading in their running gear for their finest couture. While the “Adam’s Song” drummer sported a gothic suit, the Kardashians star wore a silk gown complete with gloves and silver jewelry.
Kourtney wasn’t the only KarJenner that honored her mom, as her siblings Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner were also in attendance. And true to the special milestone, the entire family dedicated their own tributes to Kris.
“There is no one more special in this whole world than you,” the All’s Fair actor posted on Instagram, adding several photos of her mom over the years. “You truly are super woman and have been the absolute best role model just in the way you lead and live your life with such grace and compassion and joy!”
Khloe echoed the sentiment, calling Kris her “greatest inspiration.”
“You are the heartbeat of our family, the light that guides us all, the one who created this beautiful, wild, loving universe that we call home," the 41-year-old wrote. “You’ve shown me that strength can be soft, that kindness can be powerful, and that beauty has endless layers.”
