Isla Fisher is ready to welcome some holiday crashers.
The Wedding Crashers actress explained she knows “exactly” what she is planning for the holiday season with her and ex-husband Sacha Baron Cohen’s three kids.
“I've got my whole family coming from Greece,” Isla told E! News in an exclusive interview at the New York City premiere of Now You See Me: Now You Don't earlier this month. She added, “I've got my family coming from London.”
And the 49-year-old is in the perfect position to host for the holidays. Indeed, she recently reflected on how “deeply rewarding” it has been to “create a new life from a grassroots level, at least emotionally” after she finalized her divorce from the Borat actor in June—and her new chapter has included moving into a new house in London.
“I’m enjoying this new version of my life,” Isla, who was with Sasha for more than two decades before their April 2024 breakup, told Elle Decoration in an interview published Nov. 12. “I don’t need to party in my house anymore. I love to get in the bath. I’ll light some candles, bring in my laptop and put on something on Netflix. That’s as exciting as it gets.”
But while the Now You See Me star—who returned to the threequel after pulling out of the second film due to her pregnancy with her 10-year-old son—is eager to discuss her new season of life, she is adamant about keeping her most cherished topic close to her chest.
"Motherhood is actually my favorite topic but I keep it private," Isla, also mom to an 18-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old daughter, told Marie Claire Australia in May 2021. "I think all parents are trying to protect their kids, especially in the social media age."
"I want our children to have a normal childhood—being able to play outside without pressure or scrutiny," she continued. "All kids have the right to just be kids and I would never sell a film or magazine by speaking about [mine]."
