May the force be with Millie Bobby Brown at the tattoo parlor.
While the Stranger Things actress has at least eight tattoos already, she recently shared that her favorite movie quote is what she “might get” on her body next.
“Star Wars. ‘I love you.’ ‘I know.’ Empire Strikes Back,” Millie said during an interview with Collider published Nov. 18. “I just love that.”
The 21-year-old is such a fan of the exchange between Han Solo and Princess Leia in Episode V, in fact, that she will randomly quote it to her husband Jake Bongiovi.
“The other day, I said it to Jake,” she continued. “He was like, ‘I love you.’ And I was like, ‘I know.’ And he was like, ‘What are you, Han Solo?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah.’”
Millie added, “I just love that. I love that line. It's so cute.”
If she were to get the new ink, it wouldn’t be the first tattoo connected to her relationship with Jake, with whom she shares a baby girl. Earlier this year, the Enola Holmes actress stepped out with her husband and debuted his initials in small black letters on her ankle.
In addition to commemorating her romance with Jake, Millie honored her Stranger Things character Eleven by getting a tattoo of the number 11 on her left wrist, which she has also used to get her out of a sticky situation.
“I’ve actually only got pulled over twice before,” she shared during a March 2024 interview with Wired, “and I just showed him the ole [tattoo] and he let me go.”
She added, “I don't recommend that, though. I was terrified, actually, the whole time. And I didn't get a ticket, which was great.”
But for every perk of being famous, she’s also aware of the downsides. In fact, Millie has also explained how her appearance often falls under “public scrutiny” because of growing up in the public eye, calling for “people who are so desperate to tear young women down” to do better.
“I started in this industry when I was 10 years old,” she wrote on Instagram in March. “I grew up in front of the world, and for some reason, people can’t seem to grow up with me.”
She added, “Instead, they act like I’m supposed to stay frozen in time, like I should still look the way I did on Stranger Things season 1, and because I don’t, I’m now a target.”
“Let’s do better,” Millie concluded. “Not just for me, but for every young girl who deserves to grow up without fear of being torn apart for simply existing.”
Of course, Millie isn’t the only celeb who has inked her body with meaningful marks. Read on to see other stars who have gotten special tattoos.
