Braxton Berrios remains Alix Earle's cheerleader from afar.
Though he wasn't in the ballroom to root for his girlfriend as she competed on the season 34 finale of Dancing With the Stars, the NFL player showed his support with a video message before the results were announced on the Nov. 25 episode.
Braxton—who is preparing for the Houston Texans to take on the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 30—sent in a recording of himself from his kitchen counter.
"I've watched you pour everything into this since the moment it has started, and I think it shows," he told her. "Good luck. Have fun, babe."
Braxton also hyped Alix up on social media, writing on his Instagram Story after her show-stopping routine with partner Val Chmerkovskiy, "DID YOU SEE THAT!!!"
Ultimately, the duo placed second, with Robert Irwin and partner Witney Carson taking home the Mirrorball Trophy.
"My sister said it best: Thank you for changing my life," Robert shared, shouting out sister Bindi Irwin‘s speech following her 2015 win.
As for Witney, she noted, "I'm so grateful for Robert. Honestly, I feel like I already won with him as my friend."
It's a bond Alix and Val also developed over the past two months, during which time the TikToker pushed herself to grow more independent and confident in herself.
“[I] just wanted to say thank you guys for all the support,” Alix said in an emotional Nov. 24 TikTok, “because coming onto the show—some people saying I shouldn't do it—and it was something I wanted to do for myself.”
While Alix—a longtime fan of DWTS—thought it “would be so crazy to get out there and do that someday,” she was hesitant to actually join the cast.
“I would be stopping everything else work wise for a few months,” Alix continued. “And I'd be moving out to L.A. I would be apart from my friends, my boyfriend, and basically just changing my everyday life, but it was something I really wanted to do for myself.”
