Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach are quickstepping their way into some well-deserved time off.
After the Traitors alum and the dance pro placed fourth on the Dancing with the Stars season 34 finale on Nov. 25, they explained how they're planning to rest and recover.
"He needs a break," Daniella told E! News' Will Marfuggi in their joint interview. "We have not had a day off since the show started."
Dylan quipped to E!, "We need it so bad."
Fortunately, he has some idea of how he wants to relax after a "crazy week," and that would be Thanksgiving with the Efron family, which includes siblings Zac Efron, Olivia Efron and Henry Efron.
"It's all about family and food. That's it," Dylan said of their traditions. "We watch football, we lounge—our bodies, our minds."
And while he wants some time to recuperate, the reality TV star remains grateful for everything he's learned on DWTS, beyond just the steps.
Dylan added of his biggest lesson, "I don't know if it's dance—I think it's just the fact that I can commit to whatever I want to do next."
In the finale, the pair competed against Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy and Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, who ultimately took home the Mirrorball Trophy.
But Dylan experienced a special milestone one week prior, when his older brother Zac and their little sister Olivia, 5, made a surprise appearance in the ballroom to cheer him on during the Prince-themed semifinals.
"It meant everything," the 33-year-old told E! News after their performance on the Nov. 18 episode. "I grew up watching him do stuff like this. So, the fact that he's now watching me do this is crazy to me."
Though the couple ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard with 55 points, Dylan said seeing the High School Musical alum in the crowd "means the world to me.”
