Some parents may be wishing George Clooney goodnight and good luck after this one.

After all, the Oscar winner twins Alexander and Ella—who he shares with wife Amal Clooney—are hardly impressed by dad.

"Even at 8, I've got my daughter rolling her eyes now, which is a new thing," George said on the Dec. 3 episode of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast. "I'd say like, 'Hey, you know, you know, your dad's a big star.' And she just rolls her eyes."

Perhaps it’s his parenting style. "I'm a little strict," the 64-year-old admitted. "My kids are pretty good, my kids are really well-behaved."

"I have to say, it's a pretty funny adventure raising kids," the Gravity star continued, "'cause you don't realize how much they're listening to you."

A fact he unfortunately knows from experience.

"I was in the car driving to school the other day and some guy cut me off and I was like, 'F--king a--hole!'" George recalled. "And I'm driving and about five minutes later, in the backseat, I hear, 'F--king a--hole!' from my 8-year-old."

"And you know they're going to say that," he continued, "and my wife's going to hear it and then I'm dead."

Meanwhile, George and Amal—a human rights attorney—have also faced another parenting challenge: making time to be with their kids while juggling busy careers.

"You try to pace it so that I'm doing it and then she's home and then she goes and I'm home," the Ocean's Eleven actor told E! News’ Will Marfuggi at the Los Angeles premiere of Jay Kelly. "We try to mix it up a little bit."

"You’re never gonna get it all right—no one does," he added, "but you gotta go to work too, so you do the best you can."
