And according to Jason—whose brother is Travis Kelce—that community support is what helped the couple heal from the loss.

"That was hugely impactful for us when we were going through that situation," he explained, "to realize that we were not alone in this."

But a lot has changed for Jason since then, as he feels blessed to have welcomed four kids with Kylie, even joking that the girls have turned his life upside down.

"There's chaos in our house," he quipped. "I don't know who's learning more—me or them right now."

Kylie has also noticed a change in her husband since he became a father. 

"We have had the joy of building our family together," she said onstage. "He is the steady heartbeat of our home. What most people see is the intensity, the grit, how hard he truly works in everything that he does. But what I see is his love and his care, and I get to see that on a daily basis."

In fact, Jason's attitude as an athlete is part of what makes him Kylie's perfect partner.

"Jason always believed that being part of a team, whether it was the team that he played for for 13 seasons, or the one that we're raising together at home, means showing up fully and wholeheartedly," she explained. "Being a teammate, it means lifting people up, standing with them in difficult moments, and using your voice for something bigger than yourself."
