Vanna White doesn’t have anything to solve when it comes to the puzzle of love.
After all, the longtime Wheel of Fortune co-host recently shared that she still feels like it's the honeymoon phase with her longtime love John Donaldson.
“We’re very happy,” she told E! News in an exclusive interview. “We’ve been together for a long time and we are just happy the way it is.”
Indeed, while the 68-year-old—who shares Nicholas “Nikko” Pietro, 31, and Giovaana “Gigi” Pietro, 28, with ex George Santo Pietro—has been with John since 2012, she doesn’t feel pressure to tie the knot.
“Maybe people want to see us get married,” she reasoned. “When you’ve been with someone for so long, you kind of feel like you’re already married. You don’t have to have that piece of paper.”
However, just because Vanna isn’t keeping it traditional with her romance doesn’t mean she isn’t making her own traditions with John.
“We always go to Hawaii for Christmas vacation,” she added. “It’s warm and tropical and it’s a good way to get away from a big city.”
And the couple has, of course, incorporated Vanna’s two children into their holiday festivities.
“I always wrap presents,” she continued. “On Christmas Eve, we get to open one gift, and then we have to wait for Christmas Day to open the rest of them. It’s always been that way.”
As she put it, “Christmas is special for everyone, especially for family and I don’t care what age you are, it’s fun.”
Vanna’s relationship with John isn’t the only blissful companionship in her life. After Ryan Seacrest took over Wheel of Fortune from Pat Sajak last year, the longtime puzzle solver emphasized that it was a seamless transition.
“We get along great,” she said of the American Idol host. “I think our chemistry is good. He’s such a nice guy and so professional and hardworking, and we gel.”
For Vanna, her relationship with Ryan and Pat are one in the same. As she put of the new duo’s two seasons together, “It feels like it’s been forever.”
