Sophie Turner isn't feeling dreadful about the future.
In fact, the Game of Thrones alum shared an insightful reflection on the beauty of navigating life's uncertainties on her Instagram Stories Dec. 12.
"Life, really, is just a series of endings and beginnings," the screenshot of the WhatsApp message sent by someone else read. "On a loop. Every up and down comes at a point in this cycle. Perhaps embracing the start of something new must be balanced with accepting the reality of something coming to an end."
"The sooner we realize this—and welcome it—the better we process our experiences and we see life is working for us, not against us," the text continued. "Adversity (emotional, physical or psychological) brings strength of character for the next challenge."
The writer emphasized that struggles eventually lead to different—and sometimes positive—paths and opportunities.
"As you feel the heaviness of an ending," the message concluded, "remember that the joy of a new beginning is just around the corner."
And Sophie—who shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with ex-husband Joe Jonas—may have already found her new beginning with Chris Martin. Indeed, she and the Coldplay frontman have begun dating, multiple outlets reported last month.
The Dark Phoenix actress, who previously dated British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, has been rolling with the punches since she and the Jonas Brothers member split in 2023 after four years of marriage. Although the former couple was initially involved in a tense custody battle amid their divorce, which was later resolved, they have since focused on nurturing their coparenting relationship.
"I think we're doing the best we can," Sophie told British Vogue in May 2024. "I'm confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children and that's all that I can ask for."
Meanwhile, Joe—who was last linked to Stormi Bree in January 2024—revealed that he and the 29-year-old were able to work it out.
"I have a beautiful coparenting relationship that I'm really grateful for," Joe, 36, shared on Jay Shetty's On Purpose Live Tour in May. "Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true."
"As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them," he continued. "I think what values I want for them are to be open-minded and have a big heart, be able to walk into any room and feel confident and know that they can do literally anything they want."
