Watch: Princess Charlotte Joins Mom Kate Middleton for Surprise Piano Performance

Kate Middleton and Prince William's daughter is a pitch perfect princess.

Princess Charlotte, 10, showed off her musical skills during a surprise appearance alongside the Princess of Wales on ITV's holiday special Royal Carols: Together at Christmas on Dec. 24.

During what Kensington Palace described as "a special duet," the mother-daughter duo sat together at the piano to perform "Holm Sound" by Erland Cooper.

Kate—who also shares Prince George, 12, and Prince Louis, 7, with the future King of England—looked graceful in a green Christmas gown, while her mini-me smiled in an adorable navy-blue sweater and plaid skirt outfit for the TV show.

In addition to playing the tune, Kate also gave an emotional message in a narration over the song.

"At its heart, Christmas speaks of love taking form in the simplest, most human ways," the 43-year-old began. "Not in sentimental or grand gestures, but gentle ones: a moment of listening, a word of comfort, a friendly conversation, a helping hand, presence. These simple acts of care might seem small, but they contribute to the beautiful tapestry of life to which we all belong."

"Christmas is a time that reminds us how deeply our lives are woven together," she reflected. "At a time when life can sometimes feel fragmented or uncertain, the Christmas season invites us to remember the power of reaching out to one another with generosity of heart, understanding and hope. This carol service offers a moment of collective togetherness, a chance to celebrate the spirit of community and service and to honor the visible and invisible bonds that unite us all."

Kate—who shared in January she's in remission from cancer—went on to express her gratitude for those that have shown care and compassion for others this year.

"As the year draws to a close, I hope this season brings you moments of peace and clarity and that you too feel surrounded by the same love and care that you offer so freely," she added. "Thank you for the warmth you have given and the kindness you have shown and the quiet, constant light you bring to others. Wishing you a very happy Christmas."

As for Charlotte, while she didn't speak in the clip, she laughed alongside her mom while playing piano in a grand, lit hallway decorated with a Christmas tree on display.

However, the musical instrument isn't her only hidden talent. She's also reportedly taken after Queen Elizabeth II with the ability to impersonate celebrity voices, further showing her inclination for the performing arts.

"I'm told Charlotte has also inherited from the late Queen a brilliant ability to mimic prominent figures," royal author Phil Dampier told Hello! last year. "That should come in handy at Christmas when the royals gather in the evening at Sandringham to play charades."

And among Charlotte's favorite singers is Taylor Swift, who she got to see perform live at the Eras Tour in London alongside William and George last year.

Charlotte even crafted a friendship bracelet reading "Papa" for the Prince of Wales.

"Well, this is a relic, if you like, from a Taylor Swift concert that my daughter decided that she wanted to create a bracelet for," William shared at the Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony in November 2024, per People. "She gave it to me when I came away."

He added that he was keeping her close on his trip to South Africa: "So I promised that I'd wear it and try not to lose while I was out here."
