Watch: Timothée Chalamet’s Mom Has Sweet Reaction to His Critics Choice Awards 2026 Win

Nicole Flender is weighing in on Timothée Chalamet’s latest career milestone.

The Oscar nominee's mother had the perfect reaction to the 30-year-old winning Best Actor at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards for his performance in Marty Supreme.

Though Nicole—who shares the Lady Bird star and Pauline Chalamet, 33, with Marc Chalamet—didn’t join her son at the ceremony, she was tuned into the E! and USA Network telecast, sharing a video that she recorded of her TV featuring Kate Hudson announcing Timothée as the winner and the Dune actor's subsequent acceptance speech. As she captioned her Jan. 4 Instagram post, "My son just won the Critics Choice Award for best actor!!"

Timmy's girlfriend Kylie Jenner, who was at the awards show to support him in person, "liked" the post.

In fact, the Kylie Cosmetics founder shared a smooch with the Call Me By Your Name actor—who was nominated alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in One Battle After Another, Joel Edgerton in Train Dreams, Ethan Hawke in Blue Moon, Michael B. Jordan in Sinners and Wagner Moura in The Secret Agent—after he was announced. And from the stage, he gave her a heartfelt shoutout.

“Lastly, I'll just say thank you to my partner of three years,” he said at the end of his speech. “Thank you for our foundation.”

But he didn't stop there. Timmy also publicly declared his love for Kylie for the first time, adding, “I love you. I couldn't do this without you.”

The camera then cut to the Kardashians star in the audience mouthing "I love you" back to him from the audience.

Timothée's declaration was a major contrast to how he and Kylie had previously handled their relationship in public, which is to say they didn't discuss it at all.

While the couple, who was first romantically linked in April 2023 after crossing paths during Paris Fashion Week that January, has made several public appearances together—including attending the 2025 Golden Globes together, as well as making their red carpet debut as a couple at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in May—they had yet to speak on their romance during interviews, with Timmy even telling Vogue in November he would not speak about it.

"I don’t say that with any fear,” he told the outlet. “I just don’t have anything to say."
