Hayley Erbert is dancing through life thanks to her new addition.
In fact, the dancer shared her first look at the baby bliss she’s been enjoying since she and husband Derek Hough welcomed their daughter, Everley Capri Hough, on Dec. 29.
As Hayley put it in her Jan. 12 Instagram post, “Two weeks with my greatest love.”
The sweet caption was accompanied by an even sweeter image of Everley’s hand resting on her mom’s chest. Around Hayley’s neck was a necklace bearing a bedazzled D and E—her daughter and husband’s initials—alongside a small diamond.
Derek, for his part, gave his stamp of approval on the post with a series of four red hearts in the comment section.
Hayley’s post marked the first time she shared a glimpse of Everley, with the couple’s Jan. 5 birth announcement having been shared to Derek’s social media account.
At the time, the Dancing With the Stars judge wrote, “Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have been cracked wide open and our world is forever changed.”
Alongside Derek’s post—which also announced his daughter’s birthday and full name—was a black and white image of his and Hayley’s hands cradled around Everley’s feet.
While he and Hayley opted to remain tight-lipped ahead of her birth, Derek didn’t shy away from detailing the many ways he and his wife were preparing for their little one’s arrival.
“I’ve been having classes with the doulas and midwives, learning all about the pregnancy,” he told E! News in November. “Just all these different things and all these tools to really understand this birth, because it’s going to be a very intimate birth. It’s going to be a little different, so I have to make sure I know what I'm doing.“
And at the time, just the thought of his future baby joining them brought tears to Derek’s eyes.
"I get emotional thinking about it," he admitted, "where I get to guide, mentor, love this human being from day one."
He continued with a smile, "It's gonna be amazing and I'm looking forward to what it all is going to do and mean for me as a dad, as a person, as a man and what's going to evolve within me and change."

"Her recovery process has been nothing short of a miracle."
October 2024: Road to Recovery
After being given medical clearance to get back to performing, Hayley and Derek resumed their Symphony of Dance tour in April 2024. In October, she made her triumphant return to the ballroom as she joined her husband for an emotional routine set to Benson Boone's "Beautiful Things."
July 2025: Baby on the Way
The couple announced they'd be welcoming a new addition to their family as they revealed they were expecting their first baby together. Alongside an Instagram video unveiling their unborn child's sonogram, Hayley wrote, "We can’t believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small."
