Last week, 5-year-old Miles Scott became a bona fide superhero for the day...not that he wasn't one already: The kindergartener had been battling leukemia since before he was two. And now, thankfully, it is in remission. 

To celebrate, Make-a-Wish transformed San Francisco into Gotham for a day of crime fighting that captured the nation's attention—and warmed the hearts of everyone who followed the story.
