ARTHUR EDWARDS/AFP/Getty ImagesPrince Charles is going to be a grandfather—again!
The 65-year-old heir to the throne was congratulated on Prince William and Kate Middleton's baby news during a recent visit with Demi Owoseje, an entrepreneur helped by the Prince's Trust, and Prince George's grandpa had a rather cheeky response to the well wishes, quipping, "What did I do?"
"It hasn't arrived yet," he added, referring to royal baby No. 2, "[but] splendid, we're very excited."
The mother of the entrepreneur whose leather upholstery studio Charles was visiting said the royal asked her if she had any grandchildren. "Not yet," she told him, "my daughter's too busy with her business."
"He said the baby was part of life's experiences," she added, "and he seemed quite happy about it."
As we all are! Uncle Prince Harry reacted to his brother and sister-in-law's baby news cheekily, just like his dad! Of course, the royal redhead called Kate's second pregnancy "very exciting news," but he couldn't help but joke with the media, "If it's a girl...I'd love to see him [William] try and come with that."
"But in all seriousness, I hope my sister-in-law gets better soon," he said, "and the two of them have the opportunity to, I suppose, go through the whole thing, the whole process, again in a little bit of peace and quiet!"
We hope so, too, although 13-month-old Prince George might not be helping much when it comes to keeping a quiet household!
