Ariana Grande, who hit the 2015 Grammys with her boyfriend Big Sean, admitted that even though this wasn't her first time at music's biggest night, she was still full of jitters.
"I'm just excited to be here," the 21-year-old told Ryan Seacrest while clutching her beau. "I never expected to be nominated in my first couple years of doing this, so it's an honor and I'm very excited. But I'm super nervous, though!"
Fortunately, Big Sean was by her side, in "head to toe" Yves Saint Laurent to steady her, even if he didn't think she really needed the backup.
"She's pretty calm. She's cool. She says she's nervous, but she handles it great, man," the 26-year-old rapper gushed about his girlfriend.
Grande, who looked gorgeous in a white Versace gown, is nominated tonight for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. And whether or not she takes home some hardware, she still has a very important year ahead of her.
"My tour starts the end of February, so I'm very excited," she said. "We just had our first rehearsal in a venue, like in a real arena the other day and I was having a heart attack. It was so emotional."
One thing is for sure: Ariana and Big Sean make a very adorable red carpet couple!
