Jesal / Tanna / Splash News; John Stillwell/PA WirePrincess Charlotte's christening ceremony may be less than one month away, but there's already one close family member that will most likely miss the important event.
It turns out that Prince Harry is likely to embark on his three-month visit to Africa shortly before the littlest royal's special day, People reports.
While specific details surrounding his upcoming trip have yet to be confirmed by the palace, what we do know is that Prince William's younger brother was also missing in action for the royal baby's arrival.
Harry was in the midst of his tour in Australia when Kate Middleton gave birth to Prince George's sister on May 2, so you'd think he'd want to take part in the christening to make up for lost times! But alas, being a royal isn't all fun and games. It's countless appearances around the globe, too!
But back to the matter at hand, Princess Charlotte's christening!
The wee one is scheduled to be christened on July 5 at St Mary Magdalene Church at the Queen's Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Rev.Justin Welby, will be performing the service.
According to the BBC, Welby was "delighted" to be asked to conduct the tiny royal's baptism. "It will be an extraordinary honor and privilege to help welcome the princess into the family of the church," he shared.
And while new photos of Kate and William's two children were just released this past weekend, we can't help but countdown to the christening where surely there will be plenty of new (and adorable) family snapshots to see!
