The twosome shares a similar sentiment with the films' lead actress, Witherspoon, who recently revealed in an interview with Rachel Zoe that she thinks its the perfect time to bring back America's favorite blond on Capitol Hill.

"A lot of writers over the years have come up with different ideas for it," Witherspoon explained. "I actually think it's kind of great right now because we're talking about women in politics and how important that is to get more women and I think it'd be kind of a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court justice or someone who runs for office, like president!"

If anything, Wilson argued they just have to make a third film to salvage their reputation after Legally Blonde 2 made Entertainment Weekly's list of worst sequels ever made.

"That's why we need to do three, to bring everybody back," he said.

Aw, Emmett! He's always looking to keep the gang together.
