Gregg DeGuire/WireImageIt might feel like brisk fall weather everywhere else, but in Hollywood this past week, celebs got hot and sweaty.
Blame the 90-degree weather on an unexpected heatwave...or maybe it was Amal Clooney's billowy maxi-dress she wore to the Suburbicon premiere? Mother Nature got word that everyone's favorite humanitarian was wearing a lightweight frock made for summer jaunts to Lake Como and decided to change the weather to suit Amal's needs. OK, yeah, it was probably just the heatwave, but the beautiful, almost-watercolor-like design on the famous lawyer's Bill Blass spring 2007 stunner made us feel ready for yacht rids rather than sweater weather.
Amal wasn't the only one dressing for the higher temps. Stars attending the third annual InStyle Awards and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show and Tea at the Chateau Marmont had us looking forward to spring. Of course, a few celebs, like Claudia Schiffer, kept us grounded, wearing fall-ready get-ups and proving that, indeed, winter is coming.

Kaia Gerber
Picnic-blanket-chic or the perfect brunch ensemble? The red box clutch adds structure to the model's look, making it holiday appropriate should you want to add a fur or leather jacket and statement booties.
Tracee Ellis Ross
The Black-ish star is giving us life at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show and Tea earlier this week. Typically, pairing two bold colors together can be too much, but Tracee's vibrant frock and red pumps and lips create a striking contrast.
Amal Clooney
Bookmark this page for your next warm-weather event. George Clooney's better half looked calm, cool and collected in a print maxi-dress at the Suburbicon premiere...even during a California heatwave.
Millie Bobby Brown
Excited for the premiere of Stranger Things season 2? That's how excited we are to copy the actress' cool-girl ensemble.
Sofia Richie
If Barbie was at the Bulgari event this past week, she'd look exactly the budding model. The shiny pink gown perfectly complemented her bling!
Claudia Schiffer
Your fall wardrobe inspiration is now here. Pair a matronly dress with a bold, animal-print scarf and fringe booties for a full look that just screams, "Give me attention."
Heidi Klum
Leave it to the Project Runway star to break the white after Labor Day style rule. This asymmetrical, dual-fabric ensemble was the perfect look to wear to the third annual InStyle Awards.
Cate Blanchett
If the actress was a bird, she'd be the eye-catching red robin. Everyone would marvel at her delicate feathers fabrics.
Elle Fanning
Elle was a walking pop art installation at the InStyle Awards. Even her shoes and psychedelic hair and makeup matched her colorful, bold dress.
Nikki Reed
The actress' tousled hair perfectly complemented both the androgynous suit silhouette and feminine print.
