The 2018 SAG Awards is right around the corner, which means it's the perfect time for pop culture fanatics to get acquainted with the talented group of nominees.
So talented—in fact—that for many A-listers, this year's ceremony is far from their first Screen Actors Guild rodeo. The first ceremony was held in 1995, and Best Actress contenders Susan Sarandon and Robin Wright attended to represent for The Client and Forrest Gump, respectively. Now more than two decades later, these two and a slew of other acting veterans find themselves being honored at the 24th consecutive presentation.
From Allison Janney's major win at her first SAG Awards to other epic red carpet moments courtesy of Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell and more familiar faces, consider this the trip down memory lane you need to get excited for Sunday's big show.
Keep scrolling and don't forget to tune into the 2018 SAG Awards when it airs live on TNT and TBS Sunday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
