James Gandolfini

After leaving the iconic character of mafia boss Tony Soprano behind, Gandolfini took a supporting role in critically acclaimed films such as Where The Wild Things Are, Zero Dark Thirty and Killing Them Softly. Sadly, Gandolfini died at the age of 51 after suffering a heart attack while in Italy, where he was attending the Taormina Film Festival. Following his tragic passing, Gandolfini earned rave reviews for his performance opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Enough Said.

Edie Falco

A role like Carmela, Tony's long-suffering wife, is a hard one to top, but Falco, who won an Emmy and two Golden Globes during the show's six-ear run, managed to find an equally compelling role on Showtime's Nurse Jackie as the drug-addicted titular character. Her work on the series landed her the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2009.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler

Sigler, who played Tony's daugher Meadow, left the mob  to join one of Hollywood's coolest crews when she guest starred on Entourage as herself for 13 episodes. She's also made guest appearances on Ugly Betty and Drop Dead Diva and recently starred in NBC's shortlived sitcom Guys With Kids. Sigler and her fiancé Cutter Dykstra recently welcomed their first child, a boy named Beau.

Tony Sirico

After playing Caporegime-turned-Underboss Paulie "Walnuts" Gualtieri, Tony's righthand man, Sirico guest-starred on series such as Medium and Chuck. He also put in a guest appearance on Sopranos costar Steven Van Zandt's Lilyhammer. Following the (brief) death of Brian on Family Guy, Sirico voiced the Griffin family's new dog Vinny, who received a less than warm reception from outraged fans.

Michael Imperioli

Coming off his unforgettable role as Christopher Moltisanti, Imperioli barely gave viewers a chance to miss him as he's enjoyed a streak of guest appearances on shows such as Girls, Californication, Necessary Roughness and The Office, as well as starring on two shortlived series, Life on Mars and Detroit 1-8-7.

Drea De Matteo

De Matteo's character Adriana suffered one of the HBO hit's most shocking deaths after Tony learned she was the mole giving information to the FBI in season five. Post-Sopranos, De Matteo spent two seasons as Joey Tribbiani's sister on Joey and lived on Desperate Housewives' Wisteria Lane for a bit before taking on  the role of Jax's drug-addicted ex-wife Wendy on FX's Sons of Anarchy. She was recently upped to series regular for the gritty biker drama's sixth and final season.

Steve Schirripa

Shy and big-hearted, Schirripa's Bobby Bacala, Tony's brother-in-law,  was a fan favorite before he was gunned down in a hobby shop by Phil Leotard. (Ugh.) After leaving the mob behind, Schirripa went on to star on ABC Family's longrunning teen drama, The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Next up for Schirripa is a starring role in Jersey Boys, the highly anticipated film adaptation of the hit musical.
