Veep: Renewed
Veep is both critically acclaimed and HBO's highest-rated comedy. The recent Emmy wins by Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Tony Hale will likely bring more eyeballs to the series when it returns for a third season in April. A fourth season is very likely.
The Voice: Renewed
Season six of The Voice premieres Feb. 24 and welcomes singing sensations Shakira and Usher back to the big, red, chairs—but will there be a seventh season this fall? Based off The Voice's consistently high ratings, and the fact that the series snagged the highly coveted Emmy for Outstanding Reality-Competition Show last September, we think NBC will definitely be bringing the show back. Now the only question is: Which combination of coaches will fill the chairs this time? (Cee Lo Green told us he's in talks for season seven.)
The Walking Dead: Renewed
People just can't get enough of this zombie-filled drama! The Walking Dead's season four premiere shattered the series' ratings records in October, attracting 16.1 million viewers, which is the highest-rated episode in the AMC hit's history. Due to the fan frenzy, it's no surprise that the network has already renewed the apocalyptic drama for a fifth season.
Witches of East End: Renewed
Lifetime renewed their soapy witch drama for a second season after its freshman outing averaged 3 million viewers. "With its great story telling and amazing cast, Witches of East End is leading a full-blown witch renaissance," Lifetime boss Rob Share boasted.
The X Factor: Canceled
And Simon Cowell is heading back to the UK! Fox canceled the struggling reality series after three seasons, with Cowell set to head back across the pond to rejoin The X Factor UK. "I've had a fantastic time over the last 12 years, both on The X Factor and American Idol. And apart from being lucky enough to find some amazing talent on the shows, I have always had an incredible welcome from the American public (most of the time!)," the producer and judge said. Its cancellation didn't come as much of a surprise, as Fox boss Kevin Reilly admitted the show was "underperforming."
