Reds and Pinks
We saw plenty of feminine splashes of bold red and pretty pink shades on the runways at Escada, DKNY, Prabal Gurung and Narcisco Rodriguez. We're in love with these flirty vibrant hues for fall.
Sportswear Redo
Alexander Wang and Rebecca Taylor were just a few of the forward-thinking designers who showed cool yet casual pieces with a sportswear influence. Bold pops of color and exciting details enlivened the traditional look as we once knew it, giving us added inspiration for the season ahead.
Psychedelic Sparkle
It's time to shine this fall! We spotted several multi-colored sparkly motifs on the catwalk and loved these interpretations by 3.1 Phillip Lim, Delpozo and Marc Jacobs. Tip: Keep accessories simple and streamlined so nothing overpowers the spectacular trend.
Fur
If there's one splurge of the season, let it be a fabulous over-the-top fur coat! Countless designers including DKNY and J. Mendel showed glamorous furs in all different types and styles, many of which were multi-colored and downright mesmerizing. Remember--when it comes to furs, the bigger, the better!
Winter Pastels
This coming fall, warm up to the idea of wearing pretty pastels instead of your standard darker hues. From icy blues to pale pinks, these unexpected shades will look lovelier than ever when temperatures dip.
Chunky Knits
Stock up on chunky knit sweaters for next season--they're bound to be a big hit. Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors and Prabal Gurung all showed several cozy styles in a range of flattering colors.
Folksy Craftwork
From vibrant hues and folksy patterns, to delicate crochet details and stunning beadwork, there was a distinctive free-spirited theme seen on several runways. Diane von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs and Rebecca Taylor captured a rare designer DIY element in their looks this season.
Tonal Dressing
Keep it simple for fall with muted dressing from head to toe. Hugo Boss, Narcisco Rodriguez and Marc Jacobs were just a few of the savvy designers who showed flawless executions of this elegant look.
