Lupita Nyong'o

Some readers accused Vanity Fair of lightening the Oscar winner's skin color for their November 2013 issue, while others chalked it up to the photographer's flash. Lupita tweeted a link to the photo though, seemingly giving it her seal of approval.

The New Zealand prodigy was  "pretty sure" her Fashion magazine spread had been Photoshopped to give her "a new nose," but the glossy denied this, saying things just looked different sometimes due lighting and camera angles. In another instance, Lorde called out an outlet for airbrushing away her acne spots, telling fans, "remember flaws are ok :-)"

Kate Winslet

Back in 2003, the Titanic star was quite upset when GQ took some creative liberties with her body on their cover. "I actually have a Polaroid that the photographer gave me on the day of the shoot… I can tell you they've reduced the size of my legs by about a third," she told the BBC at the time. "For my money it looks pretty good the way it was taken."
