Why: Gordon Ramsay is back and all is right in our kitchen. After premiering on May 26, we're already super into season five of the culinary competition, which features standout personalities such as rich stay-at-home dad, an exotic dancer with a baking addiction and Elise, a country girl with a penchant for crying. Prediction: Joe Bastianich will break 15 plates this season.
Playing House
When: Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on USA Network
Why: There's not enough awesome female friendship on TVs these days, which is why we're completely obsessed with Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair's gem of a USA comedy. Plus, it's really, really funny. Catch up now before it's too late and thank us in the morning.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi's Wedding
When: Sunday, June 1 at 8 p.m. on Bravo
Why: It's a Bravo special. Centering on a Real Housewife. Planning her wedding. Need we say more? Oh, we do: Mama Joyce!
Food Network Star
When: Sunday, June 1 at 9 p.m. on Food Network
Why: Let's face it, last season of the House That Guy Fieri Built (sub-title) was not its best. (And possibly its worst.) But the return of FN execs Bob Tuschman and Susie Fogelson, has us excited for Season 10.
Beauty and the Beast
When: Monday, June 2 at 9 p.m. on the CW
Why: It's ba-aaack! What better way to celebrate the show's season three renewal than by tuning into the summer premiere after a two-month hiatus?
Orange Is the New Black
When: Friday, June 6 on Netflix
Why: Raise your hand if you never thought you'd consider committing a crime just to get back to jail. (OK, not really, but you get the idea.) But we've already cleared our schedules in order to binge OITNB's second season, excited to reunite with Piper, Crazy Eyes, Red and the rest of our beloved Litchfield inmates.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians
When: Sunday, June 8 at 9 p.m. on E!
Why: Come on, who doesn't want to see the build-up to one of the biggest weddings in celebrity history?! Yes, viewers will get an inside look at the all the prep behind Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's recent nuptials, including their chic (ice cream-filled) trip to Paris.
Chasing Life
When: Tuesday, June 10 at 9 p.m. on ABC Family
Why: There's a brand new drama coming to ABC Family and it's about to change everything you think you know about living with leukemia. We're going to be honest, we've already seen the first three episodes of this down-to-earth drama and we haven't been this excited for an ABC Family series since the premiere of Pretty Little Liars and The Fosters combined.
Pretty Little Liars
When: Tuesday, June 10 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family
Why: Even though you barely had the chance to miss it, Pretty Little Liars is coming back with their highly anticipated fifth season. Better whip out those flashcards and study up, because you're about to get hit with another whirlwind of random storylines, murders, and deranged, but incredibly hot characters that will make you totally forget the original point of the series. Seriously though, just tell us who "A" is—this is getting ridiculous!
Suits
When: Wednesday, June 11 at 9 p.m. on USA Network
Why: Patrick J. Adams. And. Gabriel Macht. Are. Back. And. Wearing. Suits. On. Suits. We think yuor DVR just set itself based on that sentence alone.
Game of Thrones' finale
When: Sunday, June 15 at 9 p.m.
Why: If we have to explain why we're excited for a GOT finale, you must be new.
Orphan Black's finale
When: Saturday, June 21 at 9 p.m. on BBC America
Why: As with Game of Thrones, if we need to tell you why we're tuning into the season two closer of Tatiana Maslany's 10-episode Emmy campaign, then you don't deserve to watch.
True Blood
When: Sunday, June 22 at 9 p.m. on HBO
Why: Mostly, we're kind of excited for the seventh and final season to kick off just so the vampy drama will finally be put out of if its misery? Harsh, but true. Plus, we kind of hate ourselves for still caring about who Sookie will end up with: Bill, Eric, Alcide or Sam?!
Teen Wolf
When: Monday, June 23 at 10 p.m. on MTV
Why: Come for the abs (so many abs), stay for the campy-yet-compelling storylines and supernatural fun-times when the MTV hit series, which gives us some serious early Buffy vibes, returns for its fourth season. Gone are Crystal Reed and Daniel Sharman, but in their place are Shelley Hennig, as new wolf Malia, and Man of Steel's Dylan Sprayberry, as a cocky new lacross player named Liam.
Big Brother
When: Wednesday, June 25 at 8 p.m. on CBS
Why: Because we want to know how the hell Season 16 will top last season, the series' most controversial ever, when it comes to the headline-making housemate drama, of course.
Mystery Girls
When: Wednesday, June 25 at 8:30 p.m.
Why: Tori Spelling + Jennie Garth x meta references to their glory days on Beverly Hills, 90210 / mysteries = can't miss summer TV.
Girl Meets World
When: Friday, June 27 at 9:45 p.m. on Disney Channel
Why: Brace yourselves for cuteness overload! Cory and Topanga are coming back, only this time, a whole new generation will fall in love with the Matthews family in Girl Meets World. We've already seen the premiere (and it was adorable!) so get ready for giggle-worthy hijinks, squee-worthy Boy Meets World inside jokes and more.
The Leftovers
When: Sunday, June 29 at 10 p.m. on HBO
Why: Lost's Damon Lindelof is taking on the Rapture! In the drama, which was co-written by Tom Perrotta and based on his best-selling book of the same name, a small town deals with the aftermath of two percent of the world's population disappearing. (A Smoke Monter is not involved. Nor is a polar bear.) Jennifer Aniston's beau Justin Theroux stars...and will be shirtless. Hey, whatever it takes so soften the blow of the end times, right?
Under the Dome
When: Monday, June 30 at 9 p.m. on CBS
Why: Last season's hit, which has basically made summer TV cool again, is set to make some major kills in the season two premiere, which we're welcoming with arms wide open. Hey, that Dome is getting a little stuffy!
Extant
When: Wednesday, July 9 at 9 p.m. on CBS
Why: Halle Berry is coming to TV and it's kind of a big deal. And she's teaming up with Steven Spielberg (and an alien fetus) to do it.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey
When: Sunday, July 13, at 8 p.m. on Bravo
Why: Gone are Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita, Kathy Wakile in season six, with three new wives set to take their well-manicured places: Amber Marchese, a cancer survivor, and twin sisters, Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea. But really, we're most excited over the return of Dina Manzo, one of NJ's original Housewives. (Check out an exclusive sneak peek of the new season!)
The Strain
When: Monday, July 14 on FX
Why: Ah, real vamps! And they come from Guillermo del Toro and Carlton Cuse, a creative dream team if there ever were one. Just make sure to watch with the lights on.
Sharknado 2 and "Sharknado Week"
When: Wednesday, July 30 at 9 p.m. on Syfy
Why: It's a freaking storm o' sharks terrorizing New York City, with a washed up actress (Tara Reid) and former Beverly Hills, 90210 star (Ian Ziering) as humanity's only hope. Again!
Plus, Syfy is taking a page out of Discovery Channel's playbook and running an entire week's worth of shark-related programming, airing their S"harknado Week" offerings from July 16 through Aug. 2.
The Killing
When: Friday, Aug. 1 on Netflix
Why: It's alive! Again! After being canceled twice by AMC, The Killing was once again resurrected, this time by Netflix, for a fourth and final (at least for now) season. Here's hoping they solve the biggest mystery of all: should Holden and Linden hook up?! One thing's for sure: there will probably be rain.
