Outlander Poster
1/29
Starz/Jason Bell

Best: Outlander

Starz, you are so clever! By changing just a few small things from the previous poster for this hit show, Claire goes from damsel in distress to fierce heroine, her husband Frank turns into his villainous ancestor Black Jack, and Jamie goes from wanting Claire to wanting to help keep Claire safe from Black Jack. Is the Droughtlander over yet?!

HBO

Best: Game of Thrones

HBO's poster is dark, it's epic, it's mysterious...and it's got dragons! You can't argue with dragons. Dragons win every time. Plus, is that Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) coming face-to-face with one of Dany's (Emilia Clarke) dragons?! Are we finally going to get the scene we've been waiting years for?!

CW

Best: iZombie

Slightly creepy, perfectly cheeky, this ad for the new CW series from Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas perfectly captures what the show is about.

ABC

Worst: Secrets and Lies

Did he or didn't he...put you to sleep with this new ad for the ABC drama?

FOX

Best: The Last Man on Earth

Just like the new sitcom itself, the ad campaign for Will Forte's starring vehicle was so original.

FOX

Worst: Empire

The only thing Fox has gotten wrong when it comes to our favorite new show of the year? This kinda tame ad that pales in comparison to the epicness that is Empire. Cookie deserves better!

ABC

Best: Fresh Off the Boat

We loved the ABC fresh take on a classic, "American Gothic," for the sitcom about a Taiwanese family trying to make their American dream come true in the '90s.

CW

Worst: The Messengers

Listen, we love to ogle hot bods, especially on the CW, but you literally have no idea what the new drama is about from this. At all.

FX

Best: American Horror Story: Freak Show

Never a disappointment when it comes to promos, the first look at the FX anthology hit's fourth outing is a visual delight, filled with teases and clues about the new season. And Kathy Bates has a beard! And Angela Bassett has three boobs! Well played, Ryan Murphy. Well played.

CW

Worst: Supernatural

Dude, Dean is a freakin' demon and this is the best you could come up with, CW?! Recycled photos and a half-assed tagline? Side-eyeing you so hard right now.

ABC

Best: Once Upon a Time

This poster, teasing the debut of Frozen's Queen Elsa, gave us chills in the best possible way.

FX

Best: Sons of Anarchy

With Jax hell-bent on revenge heading into the final season, the chilling posters, which feature our anti-hero as the grim reaper, are a home run. (Also, a shirtless Charlie Hunnam doesn't hurt)

13/29
ABC

Worst: Nashville

Snoozeville, population: Anyone who looks at this poster.

FOX

Best: The Mindy Project

Fact: this poster could literally not be more adorable, and completely captures the show, and the couple, perfectly. More like so right it's right.

Worst: The Walking Dead

Considering the cannibalistic turn the AMC zombie hit is set to take in season five (and Rick's infamous bite in the finale), this poster just seems tame by comparison.

16/29
ABC

Best: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

While many people won't get that this is a poster for S.H.I.E.L.D. at first glance, it plays into the underground feel of the gang in season two, making viewers feel like they are in on one of TV's coolest secrets.

17/29

Worst: The Blacklist

Why oh why is one of last season's buzziest new shows of the year using fake magazine covers to promote its return?! Especially ones that really do not gel with the NBC drama's tone at all?! Baffling.

18/29
Showtime

Best: Homeland

Say what you will about the series' uneven third season, but the first poster for the fourth season is definitely a standout and makes a bold statement.

19/29
ABC

Best: Revenge

Game of Thornes! While ABC is still recycling Emily's dress of thorns from season one, they won us over by now having Victoria don her own gown as well, teeing up a major narrative switch for the upcoming season. Revenge has never looked so good!

20/29
FOX

Best: Red Band Society

Playing into the show's stereotypes, Fox totally nailed the perfect tone when it came to The Breakfast Club-meets-Glee drama. Bonus points for the choice of font…an undervalued, but oh-so-important competent of any poster. (Not about that Comic Sans life.)

21/29
NBC

Worst: Bad Judge

In case you couldn't tell, from the laughable props, like cowboy boots and a beer, she's a rebellious judge who breaks the laws she's paid to enforce. Please, feel free to stop hitting us over the head with your obviousness at any time.

22/29
CBS

Best: Stalker

Eerie and effecting, the poster totally captures the idea that anyone can be watching you at any time. Quick, someone turn the lights on!

23/29
NBC

Worst: Mysteries of Laura

Just a world of no. Debra Messing, you deserve better...and so do we.

24/29
FOX

Best: Gotham

Dark, gritty and totally noir, Gotham's posters are destined to be pinned on many a fanboy's walls.
