Lauren Graham
After playing TV's coolest, quippiest, most coffee-obsessed mom ever, Lorelai Gilmore, Graham went on to play yet another one of TV's best moms on NBC's Parenthood, which is currently in its final season. (She's dating co-star and on-screen big bro Peter Krause in real-life.) Oh, and Graham is totally down for a Gilmore Girls movie.
Alexis Bledel
Shy and sweet Rory Gilmore, we hardly recognize you after your turn as Beth, Pete's bored housewife of a mistress, on Mad Men. And bonus from her time on the AMC hit: she married costar Vincent Kartheiser in a secret ceremony in August. Aside from Mad Men, Bledel is known for her role in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies, and is still BFFs with Blake Lively, America Ferrera and Ambery Tamblyn.
Scott Patterson
What can we say about Luke Danes other than that he was TV's most lovable grump ever? Clearly in love with Lorelai since the beginning of the series (The Santa Burger! The Hat! The Horoscope!), Luke finally made a move later in the series, only to have it crash and burn (we'll get to that a little later. See: Vanessa Marano's slide.) Fortunately, the series finale strongly hinted that the duo work would it out. Phew! Since shutting down Luke's Diner, Patterson has gone on to enjoy roles in some smaller films and starred in 2008's Aliens in America and NBC's short-lived series The Event in 2011.
Melissa McCarthy
Definitely Gilmore Girls' breakout star, McCarthy first won our hearts as Lorelai's lovable chef of a sidekick and business partner Sookie. McCarthy went on to be nominated for a Golden Globe for her star-making turn in Bridesmaids, and is now a bonafide movie star, thanks to recent hits like The Heat and Identity Theft. She also stars on CBS' sitcom Mike & Molly, which earned her an Emmy.
Jared Padalecki
Slightly confusing fans of Gilmore Girls, Padalecki, who played Rory's first love Dean (He built her a car!), went on to play Sam Winchester on CW's hit series Supernatural, opposite Jensen Ackles, whose character's name is Dean. Get the confusion? Regardless, the ghost-hunting business has very good to Padalecki, as Supernatural is entering its 10th season and has a cult following. (He also once tried to visit the Stars Hollow set in a very meta moment!) While he and Bledel dated at the beginning of the series, Padalecki eventually went on to marry Supernatural costar Genevieve Cortese and they have two children together.
Milo Ventimiglia
After playing Stars Hollow bad boy Jess, one of TV's most brooding teens (and one-third of the small screen's most debated long triangles), Ventimiglia went on to star as good guy-with-superpowers Peter on NBC's hit series Heroes. His new series, The Whispers, debuts on ABC at midseason. And like Padalecki, he also dated Bledel during his time on the WB series, and went on to date Heroes costar Hayden Panettiere.
Matt Czuchry
The final member of Rory's Big Three (her main love interests that are still debated to this very day), Logan was arguably her most serious relationship. After (spoiler alert) Rory rejected Logan's proposal in the series finale, Czuchry licked his wounds and came back stronger (and more smartass-y) than ever as Cary Agos on CBS' critically acclaimed drama The Good Wife, which is currently in its sixth season.
Edward Herrmann
Richard Gilmore loved a few things: reading the newspaper, bow-ties, his job, golf, and the ladies in his life: Emily, Lorelai and Rory. Post-Gilmore Girls, Herrmann made memorable appearances on The Good Wife, Grey's Anatomy and How I Met Your Mother, and he served as the voice of Franklin D. Roosevelt for the Ken Burns docu-series The Roosevelts: An Intimate History. Sadly, he passed away on Dec. 31, 2014, after a battle with brain cancer.
Kelly Bishop
Bishop redefined prim and proper as Emily Gilmore, Lorelai's fantastically frigid mother. Bishop reteamed with Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino for ABC Family's criminally shortlived series Bunheads.
Keiko Agena
Agena played one of TV's most trusty sidekicks, Rory's quirky and music-obsessed BFF Lane Kim. Since putting away her drums, Agena has gone on to make memorable appearances on ABC Family's Twisted, Shameless and Scandal.
Liza Weil
Who knew when we first met her we would all eventually love Paris, Rory's rival-turned-roommate-turned BFF? After leaving behind the fast-paced lingo of Amy Sherman-Palladino (she also appeared on Bunheads), Weil ended up joining two of Shonda Rhimes' fast-paced dramas. She stirred up trouble in season one of Scandal as Amanda Tanner (RIP!) and currently stars on ABC;s new breakout hit, How to Get Away With Murder.
Adam Brody
Oh, Lane Kim's "one that got away." Brody's character Dave Rygalski was a gift from the TV gods, pretending to be Christian in oder to date Lane, and even writing in his bible, "This bible belongs to God, but is being used by Dave Rygalski." Alas, Brody left the series to star in a little show called The O.C. as one of TV's most iconic characters, Seth Cohen. He's also starred in films such as Jennifer's Body and Scream 4, and is married to Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, a match made in Josh Schwartz heaven.
Todd Lowe
Before going on to spend time with vampires, werewolves and fairies on True Blood as war vet Terry, Lowe played Lane's bandmate-turned-soulmate Zach Van Gerbig. (But come on, he would never top Dave Rygalski.)
Chad Michael Murray
Before there was Jess, there was Tristan, Rory's smartass classmate at Chilton who teased her in attempt to hide his crush on her. Alas, she chose Dean over him. Murray exited the series to star on One Tree Hill. After a bit of a breather, Murray is set to star opposite Hayley Atwell in ABC's buzzy midseason drama Marvel's Agent Carter.
Sean Gunn
After stealing a scene or two in every episode as Kirk, thanks to his eccentricities and ever-changing careers, Gunn recently stole a few scenes in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and even doing the motion-capture work for Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper).
Vanessa Marano
Poor, poor Marano. She could literally go on to win an Oscar and we'd all still blame her character April Nardini, Luke's secret daughter, for the demise of Luke and Lorelai's relationship. At least she's pretty charming on ABC Family's Switched at Birth.
Yanic Truesdale
After playing the constantly underwhelmed and exasperated Michel, Lorelai's devoted employee, Truesdale went on to star in various French TV shows.
