Cruise is casted as Reacher in the film adaptation of One Shot, book No. 9 in Lee Child's best selling 16-book series starring a scruffy, 6'-foot, 5-inch former military policeman.

The Friends With Benefits costar seems to be genre jumping from drama to rom-com, and is now, proving himself on the acting grounds with a new action flick.
