Keira Knightley
Knightley is atoning for her recent lack of profile by signing on for her West End debut this December. She'll play an American film star (not the biggest of stretches, granted) who becomes the object of affection for a disillusioned playwright in The Misanthrope.
Daniel Radcliffe
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying? Hire Harry Potter to star in your play. Radcliffe will make his first turn to the musical in a New York reading of the play this December, which will of course be staged with designs on possibly reviving the show.
Parker Posey
The indie queen stars in Highland Park, about a teacher (Danny Glover) at a struggling high school who wins the lottery and uses his windfall to restore the local library. Posey plays the town's opportunistic mayor—who, we're guessing, is also a little quirky.
Marlon Wayans
What, you thought Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx were the only ones who could forge a serious career out of In Living Color? Marlon Wayans is following suit, starring as legendary stand-up Richard Pryor in what will likely be a golden statue-chasing biopic of the star.
Isla Fisher
The pint-sized Aussie is doubling her fun (and workload), signing on to star in two big screen projects. The first, Life Coach, centers around a woman who ends up counseling the titular professional, while the second, an as yet untitled romantic comedy based on a French script, is being kept under wraps. We're gonna go out on a limb and say it involves a cute meeting, witty repartee and ladies singing into their hairbrushes.
Mark Wahlberg
Ice, Icelandic thriller remake, baby. The erstwhile Marky Mark is on board to star in a remake of the colder isle's hit thriller Reykjavik-Rotterdam, following a security guard and reformed alcohol smuggler who get tempted back into the biz. The film comes with credentials: the original is the country's submission for this year's foreign-language Oscar.
The Vacation Series
New Line is looking to revive the Vacation series with a next-generation take on the John Hughes-penned classic.
Adrien Brody
The Oscar winner will take the lead in Predators, Robert Rodriguez's reboot of the Arnold Schwarzenegger alien-hunter series.

The Oscar winner will ham it up opposite Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis in the comedy Due Date, about a father-to-be who hitches a ride from a college slacker to make it home before his wife gives birth.
Jessica Alba

The actor will take over the lead in Cartel from Milk costar Sean Penn, who recently left the project.
Robert Downey Jr
The Iron Man actor is in talks to take the lead in Steven Spielberg's remake of Harvey, about a man and a giant rabbit he calls friend.
Justin Timberlake
As if he doesn't have enough friends, the "SexyBack" singer has signed on to play Facebook's founding president in director David Fincher's drama The Social Network, chronicling the rapid rise of the company. Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield costar.
Neve Campbell
Nine years after the last spookfest, Neve Campbell has signed on to Scream 4, joining castmates Courteney Cox and David Arquette. The DImension Films sequel aims to jumpstart the franchise by kicking off a new trilogy. The horror!
Nicole Kidman
As originally reported by EOL's Marc Malkin, the star's going to play the first transgendered person in The Danish Girl, which is set in 1931.
Matt Damon
The actor follows up working with Clint Eastwood by signing on to work with...Clint Eastwood. The new project is a supernatural thriller called Hereafter, and that is all that's being revealed.
Jessica Biel
The actress is looking to bring her A-game to The A-Team, joining Bradley Cooper and Liam Neeson in the update of the TV show.
Paul W.S. Anderson
As if his recent marriage to Milla Jovovich wasn't enough to celebrate, the Death Race director announced he will revive the Three Musketeers—in 3-D. Expect rapiers thrusting right at your face!
Robin Wright Penn & James McAvoy
Sean Penn's estranged missus and the Wanted hunk are getting all historical, teaming up to headline the Robert Redford-helmed period thriller The Conspirator, about the events following Abraham Lincoln's assassination.
Eva Mendes
The sexy Hitch star is returning to her comedic roots, costarring with Michael Keaton, Will Ferrell, Damon Wayans Jr. and Mark Wahlberg in The Other Guys.
