Emile Hirsch
The young actor will star in Oliver Stone's upcoming flick, Savages. Hirsch's role isn't set yet but he will have some blockbuster costars. Savages follows two pot dealers, Ben (Aaron Johnson) and Chon (Taylor Kitsch), who go against a Mexican drug cartel when their girlfriend, Ophelia (Blake Lively) is kidnapped and held for ransom. Salma Hayek will play the Mexican cartel queen. John Travolta pops in as a burned-out DEA agent and Uma Thurman will also make an appearance as Lively's mom.
Jesse Eisenberg & Ellen Page
Jesse Eisenberg has made a name for himself playing neurotic characters, and now he's joining the master. Along with Page, the two are set to team up with famed director Woody Allen. The flick's plot is still under wraps, but we're guessing it will involve awkward yet romantic trial and error, most of which could probably be avoided if the characters would just deal with their issues. But where's the fun in that?
James Franco & Winona Ryder
Who's ready for more James Franco? Good, because we're getting more of the Oscar nominee. He'll star alongside Ryder in The Stare, a drama about a playwrite who finds herself overcome with paranoia as she prepares a new production, though she can't make out whether it's a manipulative plot against her or if she's losing her mind. Franco stars as one of her performers.
Tom Hanks
The two-time Oscar winner is teaming up with the visionary Wachowski directors for Cloud Atlas. Details about the plot are still being kept quiet, but early reports say it features several interconnected stories that highlight the wider consequences one action can have on the lives of others.
Sally Field

Hugh Laurie
The good doctor is turning in his scrubs for the classroom. Laurie is set to star in a big-screen adaptation of the book Mr. Pip. The story centers on a man who reopens a school on a war-torn South Pacific island and inspires his students by reading his favorite novel, Great Expectations.
Tobey Maguire
Third time's a charm. The erstwhile Spider-Man is teaming up again with famed director Ang Lee, this time for Life of Pi, the story of a young castaway stranded on a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger.
Sean Hayes
The Will & Grace funnyman will be putting his comedic skills to good use as Larry in the Farrelly Brothers' upcoming remake of The Three Stooges. How could Moe have a problem with that?
Geoffrey Rush
After a stellar run with Academy-Award-winning film The King's Speech, Rush is going intergalactic in his next role. He'll be voicing Tomar-Re in upcoming superhero flick The Green Lantern. According to the comic, Tomar-Re is instrumental in training Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) to control his new abilities.
Chloe Moretz
Things are getting dark for Hit Girl as she teams up with Tim Burton for Dark Shadows, a big-screen take on the '60s soap opera about a family in Maine tormented by supernatural occurences.
Dwayne Johnson
The Rock is taking it to the streets in Snitch, the story of a father (Johnson) who goes undercover to catch a drug dealer after his own son is sentenced to 30 years in prison for drug-related crimes.
Bill Murray
The veteran actor has some big shoes to fill—FDR's shoes, to be exact—in a film adaptation of the radio play Hyde Park on Hudson. Plotwise, we'll see the president have an affair with his cousin while the British royal family is visiting him stateside. Interesting.
Samuel L. Jackson
Here's hoping Jackson's role in The Samaritan will be a step in the right direction for the talented actor. The flick follows a grifter (Jackson) who wants to start a new life for himself after serving 20 years in prison but, naturally, things don't go quite as he had planned.
Ian McShane
It looks like Blackbeard has scored himself a spot in Bryan Singer's "Jack the Giant Killer," a retelling of the classic Jack and the Beanstalk fairytale. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor is slated to play a king alongside Stanely Tucci, Ewan McGregor and Nicholas Hoult.
Kevin Costner
The actor-director will play Clark Kent's dad, Jonathan Kent, in the highly anticipated reboot of the Superman franchise.
Shia LaBeouf
The Transformers star will be taking on a big-screen adaption of Joe Hill's best-selling novel in the film Horns. LaBeouf's character wakes up one day to find horns sprouting from his head—horns which give him the power to make people admit things. He puts this gift to use while investigating his girlfriend's unsolved death and the case's connection to his cursed fate.
Matthew Fox
Now that he's finally made it off that mysterious island, the actor is able to concentrate on taking to the big screen. This time he's teaming up with costar Tyler Perry for I, Alex Cross, a rebooting of author James Patterson's series, to play an assassin who kills for both a paycheck and for the, um, rush. Sounds like a character you want to avoid in a dark alley.
Liam Neeson
There aren't a whole lot of sequels these days that have us eager with anticipation—except for Taken 2.The actor's takedown of the Paris underworld to free his kidnapped daughter (Maggie Grace) was epic, and it'll be interesting to see what other international butt-kicking this actor has up his sleeves.
