Weird Belt
Okay, so we get Kate Mara's dress, but what is up with that belt? Not only does that beige color contrast (and not in a good way) against her bright red gown, but it looks completely out of place! Those ruffles underneath the belt are already distracting enough, but we're just not on board with this look.
Elegant Tribal
Ellie Kemper stuns in a unique gown that features rows of elegant tribal prints and patterns in embellished beading and designs. They prevent the dress from looking boring and really add a lovely touch! She looks like an Aztec queen all dressed up for the red carpet...
Dreary
Anna Kendrick's latest attire looks a bit drab and dreary (perhaps to match the weather?), but those colors and the style are a bit depressing. She does have a tendency to wear outfits that are a bit advanced for her age, but we hope that next time she goes for something a little more age-appropriate.
Red Riding Hood
Taylor Schilling opts for a red gown with a peephole opening at the front created by her halter style. The rest of the dress is a little plain and boring, and that sure is an awful lot of red without anything else going on, like embellishments or a fun cut!
Red Velvet
Allison Williams looks like a pretty red dessert in her sparkly tiered dress that features multiple layers from top to bottom! It's leaning a little towards the My Super Sweet Sixteen side, but that color looks brilliant against her fair skin tone!
Hollywood Glam
Diane Kruger is the epitome of Old Hollywood glam with her elegant silver gown that is tapered in at the top and then flows effortlessly out towards the bottom. All we'd like to see is a bold red lip to finish off the look and this would be perfect.
Drapey
Jessica Chastain goes for a drapey style in a bronze shimmer gown featuring lots of ruched panels all over and an ultra-low V-neck in the cleavage area. There's a little too much fabric going on at the bottom, which reminds us of a large set of curtains!
Dangerously Low
Katherine Heigl flirts with danger in a navy blue gown that features an ultra-low neckline showing off a peek at her ample cleavage. The ruffled panel at the bottom adds extra shape and texture, highlighting her slender midsection. It's risky...but we like it!
Bold
Julia Goldani Telles decided to go blue, making a statement with this bold gown with a flared bottom and a sheer central panel featuring a steep drop in the front. The color is stunning and we could spot her a mile away!
Crossover
Emily Blunt opted for a simple white gown in a crossover halter style, and despite its simple nature, the style and cut of her gown are extremely flattering! Those gorgeous dangling blue earrings add a pop of color at the top, and her Grecian-inspired hairdo adds a soft touch!
Red Sack
Always known for her eye-catching combos on the red carpet, Lena Dunham goes for an all-red outfit that reminds us of a huge satin sack. The cut of the dress is too loose and baggy, while those red shoes remind us of Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. We just want this outfit to go back home...
Grecian Goddess
Amy Adams looks like a Grecian goddess in her long gown in a soft shade of lavender that features ruched panels crossing over in all the right places. Simply stunning!
Shiny
Leslie Mann's red carpet gown catches our eyes with that bright shade of canary yellow, while the shiny texture reminds us a lot of latex! The style, however, is extremely figure-flattering, and her hair and makeup are absolute perfection!
Ruffles and Pleats
There's a lot going on with Rene Russo's outfit tonight! The veteran actress goes for ruffles and pleats for an overall busy red carpet look. The colors are boringly dark, while the textures of her dress take away from the entire look and don't flatter her figure at all.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus goes for a simple, Grecian-style gown in a bright shade of white featuring small embellishments at the top and a pair of dangling earrings. She looks great but we're not blown away by her attire...
'80s Bridesmaid

There's a lot going on with Laura Prepon's dress. For starters, that embellished design looks odd with those black ruffles all across the bottom, reminding us of some big fuzzy black bird. She adds statement jewelry to amp the glam, then she sports dark hair to match the rest of her outfit. Bring back the red, Laura! That's what's best on you...

Michelle Monaghan's evening attire reminds us more of a slip that one would wear underneath a dress. While we give her credit for rocking a toned upper body, the look is a little plain and seems more boudoir appropriate...and not for the red carpet!
