DC's Legends of Tomorrow
When heroes alone are not enough...the world needs legends. Starring Brandon Routh, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz,Victor Garber, Arthur Darvill and more, the series will center on time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter who must assemble a disparate group of heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat that puts the planet and all of time itself in jeopardy. Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Sarah Schechter will all serve as executive producers.
Containment (The CW)
Julie Plec pulled from The Vampire Diaries' stacked roster of actors for her take on the original Belgian series about a mysterious and deadly epidemic that breaks out in Atlanta, resulting in a vast urban quarantine. The Vampire Diaries'Chris Wood stars (Does this mean Kai is leaving us?! Nooo!), along with Kristen Gutoskie, Claudia Black, George Young, Hanna Mangan Lawrence and Trevor St. John.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (The CW)
Originally a pilot for Showtime, the drama from Rachel Bloomcenters on Rebecca Bloom as a successful, driven and possibly crazy young woman who gives up everything (an amazing Manhattan apartment and a partnership at a prestigious law firm), in the hopes of finding love and happiness and adventure in West Covina, Calif. Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer and The Amazing Spider-Man) and The Devil Wears Prada's Aline Brosh McKenna serve as EPs.
Angel from Hell (CBS)
After saying goodbye to Glee, Jane Lynch is back on TV in this single-cam comedy, which also stars Maggie Lawson, Kyle Bornheimer and Kevin Pollack. The series focused on the unlikely friendship between two women after Amy enters Allison's life and claims to be her guardian angel.
Limitless (CBS)
Based on the 2011 movie starring Bradley Cooper, who serves as an executive producer, the drama follows Brian Finch (Jake McDormand) as he discovers the power of the mysterious drug NZT, and is coerced into using his newfound drug-enhanced abilities to solve weekly cases for the FBI. Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter also stars.
Code Black (CBS)
Starring Marcia Gay Harden, this medical drama is set in the busiest and most notorious ER in the nation where the extraordinary staff struggle in the face of a broken system to protect their ideals and the patients who need them the most. Bonnie Somerville, Raza Jaffrey and Luis Guzman also star.
Uncle Buck (ABC)
Uncle Buck, ABC: Based on the movie of the same name, the new series stars Mike Epps as Uncle Buck, an irresponsible guy who needs a job and just so happens to have a brother and sister-in-law who need help taking care of their kids. Nia Long, James Lesure, Iman Benson, Sayeed Shahidi and Aalyrah Caldwell also star in the series from Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley.
The Catch (ABC)
The Catch is centered on the strong, successful Alice Martin (played by Mirelle Enos). She's a fraud investigator who's about to be the victim of fraud by her fiancé. Between her cases, she is determined to find him before it ruins her career. The Catch also stars Alimi Ballard, Damon Dayoub, Jay Hayden, Jacky Ido, Bethany Joy Lenz, Rose Rollins and Elvy Yost. It was written by Jennifer Schuur and executive produced by Schuur, Rhimes, Beers and Julie Anne Robinson.
Of Kings and Prophets (ABC)
An epic Biblical saga of faith, ambition and betrayal as told through the eyes of a battle-weary king, a powerful and resentful prophet and a resourceful young shepherd on a collision course with destiny. The drama stars Ray Winstone, Haaz Sleiman, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Oliver Rix, Simone Kessell, James Floyd, Mohammad Bakri and Tomer Kapon.
Quantico (ABC)
A diverse group of recruits have arrived at the FBI Quantico Base for training. They are the best, the brightest and the most vetted, so it seems impossible that one of them is suspected of masterminding the biggest attack on New York City since 9/11. The drama stars Priyanka Chopra, Dougray Scott, Jake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Massri, Johanna Braddy, Tate Ellingtonand Graham Rogers.
Wicked City (ABC)
Each season Wicked City will follow a different case set in a different noteworthy era of LA history, starting with a murder case from 1982 centered on the rock and roll, cocaine-infused revelry of the Sunset Strip. Alliances are formed between detectives, reporters, drug dealers and club-goers to solve a serial murder case. The drama stars Adam Rothenberg, Ed Westwick, Taissa Farmiga, Gabriel Luna, Karolina Wydra, Holley Fain, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Anne Winters and Erika Christensen.
Untitled Pate & Fishburne Pilot (ABC)
Billy and Cody Lefever dream of a new life beyond their working class roots and move to "The Bakken" in North Dakota, booming after the biggest oil discovery in American history. They're soon pitted against a ruthless tycoon who forces them to bet big and put everything on the line, including their marriage. The drama stars Don Johnson, Chace Crawford, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Delroy Lindo, Amber Valetta, Scott Michael Foster, India De Beaufort, Yani Gellman and Caitlin Carver.
The Family (ABC)
This thriller follows the return of a politician's young son who was presumed dead after disappearing over a decade earlier. As the mysterious young man is welcomed back into his family suspicions emerge—is he really who he says he is? The Muppets (ABC)
The Muppets return to prime time with a contemporary, documentary-style show that, for the first time ever, will explore the Muppets' personal lives and relationships, both at home and at work, as well as romances, break-ups, achievements, disappointments, wants and desires; a more adult Muppet show, for kids of all ages. Bill Prady (The Big Bang Theory) and Bob Kushnell (Anger Management) will write and executive produce.
Dr. Ken (ABC)
Doctor turned actor/comedian Ken Jeong (Community, The Hangover), plays Dr. Ken, a brilliant physician with no bedside manner. He is always trying to be a good doctor, as well as a good husband and dad to his two kids. However, these good intentions have a way of driving everyone crazy at both work and at home. Luckily, his therapist wife Allison is just the right partner to keep things sane. Dr. Ken also stars Suzy Nakamura, Dave Foley, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Dave Foley, Jonathan Slavin, Albert Tsai, and Krista Marie Yu.
Scream Queens (Fox)
A horror-comedy-mystery mash-up from the creators of Glee, the series stars Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, Oliver Hudson and Jamie Lee Curtis, with guest stars such as Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas. The plot? All hell is about to break loose for the Kappa House sisters of Wallace University when a murder takes place, exactly 20 years after a mysterious death originally rocked their college campus.
Lucifer (Fox)
Tom Ellis stars in the latest DC Comics' property to hit TV as the charming, charismatic and handsome-as-hell original fallen angel, who, bored and unhappy in Hell, takes refuge in Los Angeles, where he uses his gift of persuasion to punish bad guys. But the longer he's away from the underworld, the greater the threat that the worst of humanity could escape.
Grandfathered (Fox)
This single-cam comedy stars John Stamos as a longtime bachelor whose life is upended when he discovers he's a father—and a grandfather! Josh Peck (Josh of Drake & Josh) plays Stamos' son, Gerald, who has a two year-old daughter thanks to a one-night stand with the sexy Vanessa (Christina Milian). The series also stars Paget Brewster, Kelly Jenrette and Ravi Patel.
Rosewood (Fox)
A new drama from executive producers Todd Harthanand Richard Shepard is an investigative series centered on the brilliant Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr. (Morris Chestnut), the top private pathologist in all of Miami. As owner of one of the most sophisticated, state-of-the-art independent labs in the country, he finds the secrets in bodies that others usually miss. Despite being constantly surrounded by death, Rosewood is obsessed with life and savors every moment and his eternal optimism often frustrates the cynical female detective he works with (Jaina Lee Ortiz), but she can't argue with the results that his unique perspective provides.
The Grinder (Fox)
This single-cam comedy stars Rob Lowe as beloved TV lawyer Dean Sanderson (aka "The Grinder"), with Fred Savage as his brother, Stewart. When his long-running hit series comes to an end, he finds himself at a crossroads in life and decides to move back to his small home town thinking he has the experience to take over his family's law firm. The Grinder also stars Mary Elizabeth Ellis, William Devane and Hana Hayes.
The Frankenstein Code (Fox)
The Frankenstein Code, Fox: From Howard Gordon, the drama centers on Jimmy Pritchard (True Blood's Rob Kazinsky), a morally corrupt retired cop who is given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. Now younger and stronger, he'll have to choose between his old temptations and his new sense of purpose. Dilshad Vadsaria, White Collar's Tim DeKay, Ciara Bravo and Adhir Kalyan also star.
