A last minute fitting for me. Dresses rarely arrive more than a couple of days before the big day! First up is this stunning Delpozo dress, what do you think?
First Options
Next, a Prabal Gurung metallic water color gown. A beauty but I'm too short for it. This is looong and I have no time to tailor! My next option is an a-sym slinky from Antonio Berardi. I see it's previously been worn by Jennifer Aniston! There's no going up against that!

In Hannah and Derek Jeters' suite, getting glam with make-up maestro Charlotte! She decides on "DolceVita" eyes for tonight. Hannah's such a natural stunner that her makeup took less than 30 minutes! Her secret weapon? Having what she calls a "Vegas pool party tan." Noted!
Wintour Approved!
Hannah in her final look! A gorgeous ruby red J. Mendel dress. She tells me Anna Wintour showed up at her fitting to help her and to approve the dress!
On-Theme Accessories
Her red lantern Kotur bag—a nod to the "Chinese White Tie" theme. Hannah decides on red heels for tonight; She wants them to "disappear" into the red carpet. She tells me she is very picky when it comes to bling, but by the looks of it, it pays off!
Pre-Game Party Buddies
I head out to meet my dear friends Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman at the Mercer hotel. We actually had to change in a side room as the room was so packed with Ellie Goulding and the E! crew! It's a good thing we're all friends.

Finally on the way to the Met! Here we are getting glam in the back of the car with Vanessa, a producer from E!.
On the Red Carpet Steps
On the Met steps! I witnessed two people trip up them. It's nerve wracking for celebs who have to stand here for hours and be shouted at by photographers. Their dates will take a step back so the girls can get photographed on their own, but you can see that they feel for their girls!
