We Ranked The Bachelorette's 15 Premiere Dresses
First impressions last forever...especially when you've got another Bachelorette to compete with!
This season on The Bachelorette, two ladies will be greeting 25 men when they step out of the limo, which means we get twice the fashion eye-candy. But how does Becca Kufrin's season 14 premiere dresses compare to the 14 gowns that came before her?
We're looking back on all of the premiere dresses worn by the various Bachelorettes over the years and ranking them from snoozy to completely swoon-worthy.
So which Bachelorette rocked the best opening night look ever? Check out our ranking now!
13. Jen Scheftt, Season 3
Though she was rather reserved, Schefft went for a glam and glitzy gold dress for her debut as the Bachelorette. While pretty, her hair and make-up were a bit too casual, no?
12. Ali Fedotowsky, Season 6
We were kind of surprised to see Ali, who we still think was one of the best dressed Bachelorettes in the franchise's long history, opt for a black gown for the premiere. While pretty, we would've preferred something with a bit more personality.
10. Ashley Hebert, Season 7
We feel like we should like this gown a lot more than we actually do? We can't put our finger on why the nude, Swarovski-crystal-encrusted Randi Rahm (a favorite designer for the show's female leads) dress isn't wowing us, but it could have something to do with another nude, embellished gown making more of an impression on us with a different Bachelorette. But we'll get to her in a minute...
9. Trista Sutter, Season 1
Leave it to the OG Bachelorette to go for a simple, elegant and totally classic look. Well over 15 years later, this dress stands the test of time.
7. Britt Nilsson, Season 11
"I actually had a stylist who was so amazing," Britt said of choosing her dress. "He helped me, we tried on a million dresses and that one, I just put it on and was like, 'This is the one!'"
We totally agree, and especially when compared to the questionable bright blue mess that she wore in the promos for the season, Britt's Grecian white Cassandra Stone gown is a showstopper. But it's not the best white dress ever worn by a Bachelorette during a premiere...
6. Becca Kufrin, Season 14
While the white halter gown is stunning and definitely going to inspire a few jaws to drop post-limo exit, we actually preferred Becca's more casual, but cooler and slightly sexier After the Final Rose look. Let's do the damn thing and shake it up a bit, no?!
And sadly, a previous Bachelorette did the whole white halter grown slightly better than her a few years ago...
4. Andi Dorfman, Season 10
In a word? Stunning. The detailing on Andi's romantic Basler dress is so exquisite and you could just tell she felt beautiful. "It's very elegant," Andi told her sister during the premiere of the gown, and we are in complete and utter agreement.
3. JoJo Fletcher, Season 12
Go, JoJo, go! The brunette donned a stunning (and sparkly) nude Randi Rham dress for her first night. Even though it wasn't exactly a surprising choice for her big debut, all we have say to this dress is: Dayum! It looks like it was MADE for her, when it actually isn't custom. (Miranda Lambert wore the same dress to a major event prior to JoJo's premiere.)
2. Rachel Lindsay, Season 13
Whaboom! The lawyer ditched her legal apparel for this knockout Randi Rahm couture gown. And just how awesome was Rachel on night one? The dress weighed 20 lbs, due to the hand-sewn "bright white beads & #swarovskicrystals column dress," per the show's stylist, Cary Fetman. So meeting 30 men was likely a breeze for her.
1. Kaitlyn Bristowe, Season 11
A self-described tomboy, Kaitlyn strayed from the usual Bachelorette path by choosing a dress with a high neckline. And we're totally obsessed with it. It's so different from the usual dresses we see on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and totally fits Kaitlyn's laidback personality.
"I wanted to go with something sleek," Kaitlyn said of choosing her navy Badgley Mischka gown. "I'm not overly glamorous so I didn't want to be a big, fancy gown."
Mission accomplished!
