Cindy Crawford: Then

This all-American girl-next-door skyrocketed to supermodel stardom in the 1980s and 90s, appearing on the covers of Vogue, W, Harper's Bazaar and more hundreds of times. The Pepsi spokesmodel also tried her hand at acting, starring in 1995's Fair Game alongside William Baldwin and Salma Hayek.

After retiring from the modeling scene in 2000, Crawford's timeless beauty has ceased to fade. Now an avid business entrepreneur and mom of two, the stunning brunette has since passed  the torch to 14-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber, who is quickly climbing the ladder of the modeling industry.

Naomi Campbell: Now

Despite personal scandals, Campbell still struts on the catwalk for large fashion labels. In 2015, she closed the Zac Posen show at New York Fashion Week and was featured in campaigns for Burberry and Agent Provocateur. Campbell also founded We Love Brazil, a charity aiming to fight poverty in the country.

Known as the "chameleon" of the fashion-modeling industry, Evangelista holds the record for most cover appearances for Vogue Italia. Sporting her signature cropped ‘do, she became the face of Revlon, Donna Karan and Versace, and infamously told a photographer she and her supermodel squad "don't get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day."

In 1984 this Czech stunner became the first Central European woman to make the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Four years later, Porizkova received what was then the highest-paying modeling contract: a $600,000 campaign with Estée Lauder.

Johnson rose to fame as the first black woman to appear on the cover of Vogue. She was also the first black supermodel to grace the cover of Elle France and she has appeared on over 500 magazine covers. Additionally, Johnson penned the book Beverly Johnson's Guide to a Life of Health and Beauty, which was released in 1981.
