Happy TV Halloween!
One of the best parts of Halloween—next to the candy, the parties, the candy, and putting together your own costume—is seeing what kind of costumed shenanigans all your favorite TV characters get up to! This year, there were actually fewer costumes than there usually are, but that doesn't mean your TV faves weren't dressed to impress. Check out our faves, from worst to best, and have a happy Halloween!
12. Dr. Ken on Dr. Ken
Can't decide if a doctor dressed as the grim reaper is hilarious or horrifying, or both, or neither.
11. The Middle
Extra points for Brick dressing up as Rod Serling from Night Gallery and not Rod Serling from The Twilight Zone because that is just so wildly specific and so very Brick, but this is still a bit of a snooze because it's just a suit.
10. Dave on Dr. Ken
The day Albert Tsai grows out of being adorable will be a sad day for all of us.
9. Adam and Beverly on The Goldbergs
All of Beverly and Adam's "couple costumes" were hysterical, especially "Mork and Indy," but just look at all the work that went into this Robocop situation!
8. Sharon, Cagney, and Lacey on Brooklyn Nine-Nine
As if Terry's twins, Cagney and Lacey, could have dressed as anything other than police officers! Sharon looks cute too, but doesn't she know that orange is the new black and white stripes?
7. The Johnson family on Black-ish
Not only was Dre dressed as Obama, but all of the Johnsons joined in as Michelle, Sasha, Malia, the dog, and even Andre as a secret service guy.
6. Everyone on You're the Worst
A very expensive Daenerys Targaryen, a sexy sailor, the Situation, and a character from the (probably fictional?) British comedy Buckle Your Shoes might not individually be impressive, but together, and paired with Paul as Stephen Hawking and Dorothy as Steven Spielberg, this was quite a crew.
5. Evan and Emery on Fresh Off the Boat
Fresh Off the Boat officially killed it with the Halloween costumes this year, and Evan and Emery as Silence of the Lambs was only the tip of the iceberg.
4. Beverly on The Goldbergs
The longer we stare at Beverly's Predator costume, the funnier it gets, mostly due to the blonde curls sticking out of either side of the Predator's head.
3. Brooklyn Nine-Nine
We got barely a glimpse of the Nine-Nine's costumes before they abandoned them in an effort to irritate Boyle, but one glimpse (and this photo that we can look at forever) was kind of enough. Stare at Terry or Rosa for any length of time and just try to keep a straight face.

2. Grandma on Fresh Off the Boat (and Louis too)
Mondays, am I right? Louis' Mr. T costume was excellent, but Grandma Huang stole the show as Garfield.
1. Eddie on Fresh Off the Boat
We've been laughing at Eddie dressed as Humpty Hump for days now. Days! Sure, some of that laughter is also in honor of the grandma dressed as Garfield but mostly it's for this little genius and his love of hip hop.
