With a new year comes new TV and 2016 has plenty in the pipelines to get excited over.

Outlander's Second Season

By the time Outlander returns this spring, it'll have been off the air for nearly a full year. Who's doing the scheduling at Starz, Black Jack Randall? Because this has been torture. We're ready for preggers Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) in Paris. So ready. If only we had a premiere date...

The Bachelor's New Season

ABC's pulling out all the stops for the 20th season of our favorite romantic reality show. Twins! A chicken enthusiast! And that adorable Bachelor himself, Ben Higgins! We're already lining up for the first rose ceremony.

The Resolution to Game of Thrones' Jon Snow Mystery

HBO's been playing our emotions like a fiddle ever since Jon Snow (Kit Harington) seemed to bite the dust in Game of Thrones' fifth season finale last June. Is he truly dead, as everyone involved has worked tirelessly to make us believe? Or are we gearing up for one heck of a resurrection? Come April, we'll finally have our answer. Whether we like the answer we get, that remains to be seen.

American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson

It was the case that captivated a nation and now it's poised to be the thrilling mini-series retelling that, if there's any justice, will do the same. What we've seen of FX's 10-episode series depicting O.J. Simpson's murder trial has only left us clamoring for more. We may know the verdict, but the revelations on the road to it (as well as the powerhouse performances from a stacked cast) seem nothing short of astonishing.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow

A time-traveling superhero show with a cast comprised of some of the best side characters Arrow and The Flash have introduced to us in the last few years? Yes, a thousand times, yes.

American Idol's Final Season

It's time to say goodbye to one of TV's most massive success stories in the last 15 years, but not before American Idol gets one final season to find us a superstar and honor its past. We're here for the final crop of fresh faces, but we'll stay for the promised parade of returning judges and former Idols.

The X-Files Revival

Mulder and Scully's return to TV seemed like such an impossibility that the mere existence of the six-episode revival of The X-Files coming our way is nothing short of a miracle. We're getting chills just thinking about hearing that iconic opening credits music on our TVs in 2016.

Pretty Little Liars' Time Jump

Our favorite Little Liars are finally aging up, and from the looks of it, nothing in Rosewood is the same five years later. New love interests, burgeoning careers and an even bigger mystery all promise to make the return of PLL feel more thrilling than ever before.

Fuller House

Thanks to Netflix, we'll all soon be reliving our childhoods with the revival of Full House. Nearly the entire cast of the beloved TGIF sitcom is returning for Fuller House, this time centered on DJ and Stephanie Tanner, as well as everyone's favorite neighbor Kimmy Gibbler. Now, if only we could get an Olsen twin cameo or two...

Negan's Arrival on The Walking Dead

Every show could benefit from a little Jeffrey Dean Morgan added to the mix, right? When the hunky actor joins The Walking Dead this year, though, his main goal won't be to make us swoon. Instead, as the ultra-villainous Negan, he'll be making us scream. And if the show keeps the character's story in the comic books in tact, he'll be making more than a few characters scream on-screen, too.

Learning What Annalise and Eve Did to Young Wes on HTGAWM

How to Get Away With Murder's fall finale left us with one doozy of a cliffhanger with a flashback to 12-year-old Wes (excuse us, Christof) being interviewed by police about his mother's suicide while Annalise (Viola Davis) and Eve (Famke Janssen) watched, validating everyone who knew there had to be a hidden connection between Wait List and his shady law professor. Our mouths dropped when Eve asked, "Good God, Annalise, what did we do?" Here's hoping we find out right away when the thriller returns to ABC in February.

The Shannara Chronicles and Shadowhunters

This year, both MTV and ABC Family (soon to be Freeform) are both leaning heavily into the worlds of fantasy and the supernatural with two series that seem more gorgeous and ambitious than anything that's come before them on either network. Whether it's The Shannara Chronicles' elves on MTV or Shadowhunters' demonhunters on ABC Family, consider us hooked. Just don't expect us to choose between the two!

Hillary Clinton on Broad City

News of Hillary Clinton's appearance on Broad City's upcoming third season has had us screaming "Yaaaas queens" since first hearing it and we probably won't stop until the show returns to Comedy Central in February. Details are scarce on just how the hopeful Democratic presidential candidate will interact with Abbi and Ilana, but we've got a feeling it's going to be one of 2016's most feminist moments, whatever it may be.

Grease Live

We've been practicing our best hand jive in hopes of being ready for Fox's first foray into live musical theater with Grease Live on Jan. 31. We can't wait to see Aaron Tveit and Julianne Hough do their best Danny and Sandy, and we know we can't be the only ones. Bonus points for casting You're the Worst scene-stealer Kether Donohue as goofy Pink Lady Jan!
