These Celebs Just Missed the Mark

The worst dressed list—it's an inevitable part of every red carpet. Naming these celebs can be an uncomfortable job, but someone's got to do it. With that said, it's time to scour the SAG Awards 2016's red carpet for this year's fashion victims.

Lori Petty

The Orange Is the New Black actress's outfit was a little too reminiscent of her usual Litchfield Penitentiary attire. Its bubblegum coloring and bold harness-like accents were somewhat of a big miss.

Sarah Paulson

The Armani Privé number was a bold choice, but unfortunately the risk didn't pay off. The feather and velvet combination just didn't blend well, maybe if the designer had gone with one or the other we would have been able to focus on her gorgeous lip color.

Kate Mara

This Valentino dress took on the appeal of a modern day warrior with a little too much side boob. Had there been more fabric up top, this might have been a pass. Though, the fabric is also a hard sell-looks a little too "natural" if you catch that drift.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole is definitely vibrant in this little Gucci number. With that said, it may have been too much given the dress was also striped with a heavy scattered ruffle. It's just a little too whimsical.

January Jones

This puffy, tulle number was too much for January's petite frame. Had the design held back a bit, especially around the bust, it could have definitely been a winner. That pale, dusty blue color looks amazing on her!

For starters, you already walk a thin line when choosing to wear full sequins. The Rachel Comey custom felt like a throwback to an '80s prom and its "reversible" mentality was too hard to look past. Sticking to one color would have been a better choice.

Ellie Kemper

This Peter Pilotto dress was just a tad underwhelming for a red carpet like this. The silhouette is one seen over and over again, so it was up to the fabric's pattern to really hit home and unfortunately it just didn't. It's plain black top feel a little flat, but with that said, her hair definitely didn't! Those curls killed it.

Christina Hendricks

Shoulder bows are always a hit or miss and unfortunately for this actress, it was a miss. But only by a hair! The metallic fabric lent itself so well to her glowing skin tone. Wishing the designer would have stuck solely with the romantic bustle.

Christina Ricci

This Christopher Kane number just had too much going on. The lace fabric's heavy texture, violet and aqua color combination, and the skirt's pleats don't really live in harmony. That said, had the purple lace top continued all the way to her feet with a slimmer-fitting silhouette it definitely would have been a contender for best dressed.
